Too nice, but I hope not just by its cover. Otherwise their rating and feedback get their reputations bad.

wow looks good.

I am currently on the blockbluster deal RM110 with

1. 1mbps streamyx ,
2. free calls to all tm fixed lines..

If i pay RM40 more ... i can get
1. 5mbps/5mbps
2. IPTV
3. Free calls to all tm fixed lines

I will definitely switch to this if it's available at my area. My wish list for IPTV is
1. Scifi channel
2. Starworld
3. AXN
4. All the free-to-air channels

Then I can kiss Astro GOODBYE .. From my experience TM service is much better than Astro nowadays.

So you are saying its practical to limit user to 1hour of full bandwidth per day?

At the moment, even though streamyx is slow, i can still download 5GB average per day
1 month = 30 x 5 = 150 GB
During better days, I can get up to 8GB per day.

That service can take the 60GB cap and stuff it up its rear smile.gif

You failed maths.

5kb/s x 60 seconds x 60 min = 18 Mb/ hour
1 day = 432 MB
I month = 432 MB x 30 = 13 Gig a month

Oh yea, not to mention your electricity bills of letting your laptop on 24 hours/day.

Get real. Malaysians want bandwidth because they want to download .... (illegal things) 99% of the time.

Bandwidth cap doesn't mean it block your internet access. Maybe there will be a speed reduction just like p1wimax did.

just curious, does the IPTV fully independent from the Internet connections? such as bandwidth usage cap, or download not affected by IPTV?

Get real. Malaysians want bandwidth because they want to download .... (illegal things) 99% of the time.

Pay for something you want ok? it's bad kamma stealing intellectual property. May God bless u

Whether or not people in malaysia download things illegally or do any illegal business online is their problem. You do not have to be concerned. If the bandwidth cap is reasonable, I don't think people will be arguing this much.

It's internet for God's sake, don't bring karma into the forum.

....i wonder how tm will charge us when it come 160mbps bb speed for home user? 1k per month?
dude i dont like that package... my total fixed phone usage less than rm20/month...i already have astro so no need iptv...
tm should create one package like this:

1bolehland home user pckage:

10/15mbps unlimited usage
dynamic ip address
no iptv
flat rate 25cent/minutes call to all fixed and mobile phone
normal idd rates
no online storage
no email (who need tm email? i can use gmail and get 3gb storage for free)
free chap ayam phone
no streamyx zone id (+RM15 if you want this feature)
free modem
1 year compulsory subscription

price: RM80 or RM90

Or create one customizable package so the users can choose what ever they want to fit their needs smile.gif

I'm on a 1mbps package and I've already surpassed 65GB this month.
I don't even download everyday. Just normal surfing, YouTubing, streaming.

Unifi does not sound that good.

Right

Robbers use the highway to escape, quick, narrow down all roads to 1 lane and put bumps on them
Illegal racer use cars to do illegal racing, quick, limit all car's speed to 90kmph

That argument is a fallacy, I'm surprise people still use it today.

Unless you are working for RIAA/MPAA and as retarded as they are unsure.gif

So you are saying its practical to limit user to 1hour of full bandwidth per day?

At the moment, even though streamyx is slow, i can still download 5GB average per day
1 month = 30 x 5 = 150 GB
During better days, I can get up to 8GB per day.

That service can take the 60GB cap and stuff it up its rear smile.gif
Common sense. So rare its a super power

yeah.. if you are on 1mbps, u can get near 9gb per day, I get 4.7gb running full speed on 512kbps whole day last time..

9gb x 30 days = 270gb - 20% throttling from streamyx, u still get 200gb++ of data per month..

This thread subtitle is a bit misleading as it says "Try and Buy for SME". I went to TMPoint DU yesterday and they said Try and Buy is over. Now there is only 3 months free. Try and Buy was during the trial period which has already ended.
