RACE FORMAT : ( applicable for M4 PRO category only)
08 different winners will be crowned for every round , starting 21-03-2010.
Grand Finale will be contested by the 72 different winners which were crowned previously
from March to September 2010.
Race Format during March to September 2010 will be ' Time Attack' ,where 08 different
winners who complete 3 laps with the best timing achieved.
Race Format for the GRAND FINALE
3 racers will race one another in a ' Knock Out ' round system .
Depending on the number of racers turnout , organisers will then decide the number of
' Knock Out ' rounds.
Upon registration , racers' Mini 4WD machines will be compounded in Race Pit Area.
Motor - To Be Announced
*MOTOR ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE MODIFIED/TAMPERED WITH.
if any racers violated the rules , racers will be disqualified and results be voided.
Battery - 1 pair of batteries will be provided for all racers and be used for the entire race.
A new pair of batteries will be given to the semi-finalists of the race.
*BATTERIES ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE SHARE AMONG RACERS

Only Tamiya Cleaner Spray be allowed on the motor or other parts of the Mini 4WD machine.
Inspections will be conducted for all racers who advances to the next rounds.

Overall Winner – Rights to compete in the Mini 4WD Race in Tamiya Fair in Shizuoka ,Japan
( Accomodation provided and transportation at own expenses)
( winner who is 16 years old and under , will need to be accompany by their
parent/guardian , whom need to pay for its own travel expenses)
plus Championship Trophy

General Race Regulations
A) For Competitions at Stargek Official Race Courses
1) The start of the race will be indicated by a signal from a Tamiya race official or a starting signal system. Racers will switch on their cars, hold them in the air with one hand, and drop them vertically into their assigned lane at the start signal. Throwing or pushing the car forward is prohibited.
2) A racer will immediately retire from a race if their car leaves the track, flips over, jumps into another lane, or if their car’s body detaches during the race.
3) If race officials determine that a racer’s car is blocking the progress of faster machines, the racer will be required to retire.
4) A car’s race is completed when it finish 3 laps.
B) Car Inspection
1) All racers must have their car inspected by race officials after the race. If any part of the car is determined to be against race regulations, the racer’s result will be considered disqualified.
2) Other car inspections may occur at any time during the race day at the race official’s discretion. If the car is found to be in violation of the race regulations at any of these inspections, the racer’s race results up to that point will be disqualified.
C) Disqualification
If any of the following situations occur, race officials will, at their discretion, have absolute authority to disqualify any racer. Please take care to remember the common manners for a Mini 4WD race to avoid any problems.
1) A racer’s car is determined to have modifications that will cause physical harm to other racers, other cars, or the race track.
2) A racer’s car is determined to have modifications that are designed to deliberately obstruct other cars.
3) A racer deliberately puts grease or other substances onto the track to affect track surface conditions.
4) A racer is determined to deliberately touch the track or cars to impede other racers’ race progress.
5) A racer does not follow the instructions of race officials or otherwise impedes the operations of the race track.
6) A racer has a false start, or is determined to have thrown or pushed their cars forward at the start of a race.
7) A racer is determined to act against the spirit of fair play or cause distress for other participants.
D) Race Operations
1) Participants may raise objections to the race officials. However, these objections must be made before the next race begins.
2) Race officials reserve the right to announce the use of special regulations at any time during the race.
Tamiya Mini 4WD Singapore Championship 2010 Rules &Regulations
A) Event Entry Fee
M4 PRO & Open - $2.00 (per 3 tries )
M4 Junior - Free ( Unlimited )
B) Car Regulations
All participating cars must be 4-wheel drive. Cars modified to be rear wheel drive or front wheel drive are prohibited. All participating cars must have a body, either painted or with stickers applied, securely mounted on the chassis. Homemade bodies are prohibited. All cars must go through car inspection, and cars that fail to comply with the inspection warnings will not be allowed to race.
M4 PRO - Only Tamiya PRO Chassis/motors can be used.
M4 Open - Any Tamiya Chassis/motors can be used.
M4 Junior - Any Tamiya Chassis/motors can be used.
C) Parts Allowed To Be Used
Only original Tamiya Mini 4WD parts and Tamiya Mini 4WD PRO parts are allowed to be used.
Tamiya R/C parts are NOT ALLOWED in any cases.
D) Motor Regulations
Only the kit-included double-shaft motor, Torque-Tuned Motor PRO, Rev-Tuned Motor PRO,
Atomic-Tuned Motor PRO, Hyper Dash Motor PRO and Light Dash Motor PRO can be used.
Motor modifications are absolutely not allowed. If any traces of modification such as removal of motor end caps are found, the racer will not be allowed to participate in the race.
Use of motor tune-up sprays is prohibited.
E) Battery Regulations
2 R6/AA/UM3 Sanyo batteries must be used. If the battery appears to be damaged in any way, they will not be accepted for safety reasons.
F) Any other issues not clarified in the regulations will be deem illegal by the organiser.
