QUOTE(Beans @ Apr 2 2010, 10:06 PM) Hi everyone, good evening to you guys. it is used to guard the plate during hi-impact. that rubber tube will absorb the impact la..no need to put the rubber also can, no problem Well, I have a question here...haha Can you let me know what is the function of the rubber tube that comes together with the duralumin multi roller plate? Is't necessary to install it? Thanks, have a nice day. |

QUOTE(ToMatoK_eju @ Apr 6 2010, 11:25 AM) well, i work in ttdi which is quite near to TU but still no chance to go. yesterday i purposely take off day and went for a mission. i go to all the toycity and toy shops that i used to buy my parts in kl. to my surprise and maybe just my luck,i was able to buy some old parts, enough for 1 1/2 car. but still no engine. maybe i should get the new chassis since i see at TU,most of u guys use them. yupp... u better go T.U trus la..yesterday i come, still got light dash n hyperdash (for ms pro). basic frp side extension rm13. gear bearing rm23, hi-speed gear 3.5:1 rm 19..erm..screw set D rm15. if got more budget, go buy rm50 evo part dat used for roller front+rear setting . correct me if i'm wrong.. |

current track layout is nice la..simple but a bit tricky..front bumper also patah even i support the front with double plate frp..hehe
so now i'm thinking on how to convert from 'bumper patah' into bumperless. |

QUOTE(alan85 @ Apr 6 2010, 04:59 PM) Can this setting allow to race on this coming race day? huhu..your front setting seems better if u put that at rear..Comment, please » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « the rule is 6 roller setting, so u need to consider remove another 2 roller on your car. 1 more, too much braking at the front, bcome too slow when it goes to slope. u also can use sponge / sliding frp for less braking. |

QUOTE(K2002 @ Apr 7 2010, 01:35 PM) Can i use UHU gam to stick the sponge at the FRP bumper? is it illegal? or i need to use rubber brake? just my opinion..going to TU today? i'll be there today-depend on how fast ur car..if it too fast, use rubber brake to slow down during slope/hump. currently my setup using two plastic brake in front and two at the back. and do u guys know any secret to make my wheel rubber shinning. It collect dust after a lap or two.if can i want it to be shinning and dun collect dust plus lots of grip to the track. if i use the dish cleaner solution will the rubber be more grippy? -if u rajin, tolong vacum track before play bcoz dust are everywhere..hehe any method to make the rubber less bouncy? can i just place it under the scorching sun so that it will harden the rubber? but if too dry the rubber will crack or not? not too sure... -ppl are sanding (use cutter n sand paper) the rubber tire to make it thicker..hard to do it but worth it. when it slam, less bouncy. i dun dare to try it...is just an idea popping up "what if"..i wonder if anyone try this before can share this information together.. |

QUOTE(junichi_nonis @ Apr 22 2010, 03:56 PM) haha.. conselfa, i think u got de idea wrong.. v r nt debating hea but juz sharing our views and thoughts in order to achieve better performance.. cheers mate.. i know...i've read the last 3 post.good tips there from u guys. for me, i like it nice and simple; normal gears + 520 bearing i've made comparison for 520 bearings for gear bearing n 520 bearings dat comes in 8-9 double rollers recently... szngszng also there at dat time (kat TU je)... it seems like 520 in gear bearings look way better than the one in 520 from double rollers. does anyone hav tried to test, which is better for wheel bearing? 520 in gear bearings VS 620 AO parts. i dn't hav 620..so dunno how it performs. huhu |

QUOTE(szngszng @ Apr 22 2010, 09:45 PM) my understanding of gear is: szngszng, any sample @ pics dat describe trust bearing look like? which suits both criteria below..-cannot be too loose, too tight, at least some free play is needed for smoothness however minimize external friction. since junichi voice out, i would like to share some of my view on the gear above (ms pro gear). - compare normal counter gear, ms pro counter gear included 2 type of gears in 1: crown type for input, spur type for output. - to improve the smoothness for both type of gear, we know bearing is one of the best way, however, the green gear need diff type of bearing. - for crown, since it's high axial force, it need thrust bearing - for spur, since it's linear movement of force, it need normal ball bearing. in this case, you can realize that ms pro gear actually is very difficult to mod, not on the technical way but the nature. it's limited by the crown gear since mini 4wd part did't have any trust bearing product. so you have to looking for any ball bearing that suitable to work as trust bearing. bearing we need to replace trust bearing should have several elements: -bearing without ball cage, -bigger size since less arm force. this is my research on ms pro gear. thanks -bearing without ball cage, -bigger size since less arm force. maybe tamiya RC parts ade kot...im not sure. <choycp> my camo avante dh siap!! but not so camo la, mixture of 4 striking color...haha. later i'll post it here. (macam ice cream paddlepop pn ada.. |
