Hi all,

Don't feel like drilling or extending cables all over the living room.

Hoping to find universal wireless rear speakers to compliment existing 5.1 front surround setup. Any ideas? tongue.gif

Call me a snob, but anything that offers you a spring-loaded speaker cable connection just doesn't lend credibility as being audiophile-grade material.

Another for your consideration:

Not reason to call you a snob la. Different people have different expectations and a lot to do with personal preference and circumstances.

There are those who are happy with 3.1, 5.1, 7.1 or 9.1. Even folks who are content with their TV speakers biggrin.gif

After all this isn't exactly the Ministry of Sound thread tongue.gif

But thanks for your input on KEF icon_rolleyes.gif

That depends bro...some, due to wiring arrangement can even go more than 20meters!
Most importantly is getting the signal there with minimal lost, interference and goes nice on the home decor.

For me the surround speakers are always inline with the front speakers, but depends on placements, thats why you need to adjust the volume and height level from the amp.

so its not fix and can be extended as we needed..

its because my comfortable distance to watch my LCD is around 3-4 meters and the surround speakers need to be place further back. Plus the arrangement to make the cable concealed it would need at least more than 5m. If standard cable length is fix below that i will not bother..

kinda in feasibility study stage to purchase HT system and taking as long ti me as i need to study the small details..
