whats the difference between takaful and conventional fire insurance?

they are the same...just that takaful has mudarabah scheme.....

if you are not aware, i would suggest you stick to conventional type......

the protection is just the same.
the difference is on how they handle the money you paid to them.
if takaful, a small portion of the money will put into a fund.
we as the takaful holder become one of the member of this fund.
then, if one of the fund member's house got fire or anything covered by the takaful protection, the money from the fund will be used to pay the claim.
