what BIOS are you guys using on this DFI nF4 ?
coz I only able clock to 2.4GHz with 310BIOS
while I can clock to 2.5GHz with Gigabyte NF4 board?

is it setting problem or BIOS problem ?

Haven't been keeping up with developments recently.

Installed the latest platform driver w the ide driver and my pata disk keep reverting back to ATA66 after a while.

Anybody got this same issue?

Now I reverted back to windows default IDE driver.

probably both...dfi setting is 'torturous' sometime but it pays...have u tried other bios...310p...or 413 something...
hmmm...now u mentioned it...i managed to get mine to 2.43 with 310...then i flashed with 310p and then that beta 413...didnt managed to get even 2.3...
i'll flash it back to 310 and give a try again...

just flashed to 331-1 BIOS
folding for hours at 2.4GHz edi..
so far so good tongue.gif

from what i found @ 331-1 :
- updated and bugs fixed memtest86 from 1.51 to 1.55
- added a new fuction that enable to add 0.03v to vdimm that 3.2 or below [this is good for those that need aliitle bit more voltage to stablize their ram]

ohh..... I had problems with all sort of RAMs. wacko.gif

First I use OCZ plat. rev.2 (512x2), cannot boot using default setting. So i thought crap, then i sold the RAM get KVR BT-D43 while waiting for VX gold to arrive, omg, KVR unable to run dual channel. Then I get VX gold, wow, needs high voltage to run smoothly. In the end, VX burn and RMAing now. Then borrowed ocz plat rev2 from friend try to run 4x512 1T using venice. Failed. But can run 2x512MB now using 310 bios. Talk about my bad luck.

Well I got 1Gb of Twinmos Speed Premium with UTT chips. Wouldn't boot on 310 BIOS at default. Have to jump start using my BH6 then replace with the TMSP to get it up and running. Now it seems my TMSP is dead as it won't boot. One of the sticks I tested is not working sad.gif No signs of burn whatsoever though, it just won't boot.

Are both your sticks running properly now Evo? These UTT chips really don't seem to be that good after all. There's just so many cases of dead RAM with UTT chips nowadays.

How's the new 510 doing for you?

what i found from BIOS 510-2 :
- updated memtest 86+ v1.55
- added new feature - capable to add 0.03v to <3.2 vdimm same with BIOS 331-1
- ram bootable into Windows using slot1 aka yellow slot [havent test on slot 3 due ram wont boot sleep.gif"]
- added new feature - "dram respone time" in ram setting table

Hmm, now I've got another problem. I've resetted to optimized settings but upon boot up, I get just a blank screen after all the POST stuff. To be more precise, the blank screen appears after the Verifying DMI pool data or CMOS checksum something...

I've tried resetting CMOS, load optimized defaults and it I still can't seem to boot into WinXP. I tried to boot of a CD and it wouldn't boot too. Anyone got any ideas?

hrmm.....
using tmsp pc3200 utt here....

didn't test it one by one, straight away run it on dual channel

i don't know whether it is running well or not but currently running 220mhz, 2-2-2-5, 1t, 1:1, 3.2vdim, 1.425vcore

passed 3 hours 44 minutes of prime, 0 error 0 warning

no time to add more juice to it

i got no issues using tmsp from day one, everything bootable, from default to oc settings. the only drawback is i seldom pass memtest, no matter memtest86+ 1.51 or 1.55 from bios or dos. but did pass memtest 3.1 running in windows. however never failed prime before.
