running infinity ultra wif 144 opty paired OCZ 1gb dual kit..... now keep 2.94ghz wif my opty wif 5/6 divider

my probs is windows keep restarting after 3 or 4 hours uisng the pc... and especially when i'm using heavy software like adobe.....
any advices....

OC not stable lo....easy as that....lol...try lowering down clockspeed or bump up your vcore...

err... wats the vcore value to put?

Guys.... im running ultra-D without sli hack. can i put my gfx on the 2nd sli slot n will it affect performance much? i'm not benchmark geek, so hundred points drop in 3dmark score wont bother me much as long if the games play smooth.

and i succesfully oc to 2.6 and ram is 237mghz, but cannot go more, i think i can go more coz mt temp is only at:

cpu 36 c
chipset 48c
pwmic 46c

just wanna know whats been holding me from to go more than 2.6

hello guys.... it's been almost 1 1/2 months since my ultra-d went to RMA and lying around after it...

today i just received my 7300gt and decide to pull back all my stuffs together with my RMA-ed Ultra-D here...

but i stumbled when booting the system...the LED indicator shows the 1 last red light and the monitor led turns green but no display coming out..

got the sytem boot "toot" sound there...like proper boot...but there's no display on the screen....

i think maybe the BIOS is not compatible and updated with my Opty 144 here...so decide to change to my 3000 venice back....but still the same symptom occured...

reset BIOS and pul out battery 5-8 times oledi....uwaaa... please please please help

Take it back and ask them check it for u.

culprit identified --> 7300gt there... sent to supplier for 1-1 change policy

problem solved --> currently installing window...

really missed my opty after running venice at 1800mhz for the past month..

Push it to 3.0Ghz...

pushed it once...but need voltage pumpz... twin push opty and 7300gt latest assignments for this weekend

i miss the opteron also...
hope got holiday, then can swap with gsan...

Anybody have using DFI Lanparty with psu Enermax FMA series? I'm using 535 watt can boot but after using with 460 watt, the fan on psu still run but no display.

try ask @dabad...he's using Enermax PSU but dunno which model issit...

Anyone here tested the Infinity AM2 motherboard yet?
I just received mine today (Infinity NF Ultra II-M2) and can't wait to put it on the test bech. This thing has dual PCI-E slots and the layout is similar to Expert/Venus/RDX/CFX series. I checked the chipset and it uses nF4 Ultra chipset, which is same as nF4 Ultra-D. However, it looks like "points" on chipset was enameled to prevent users from "SLI-enabling" it. However, I recently learnt that it will still be possible to run SLI on any mobo with dual PCI-E slot, thanks to modded FW drivers!

Sadly, my Cybershot decided to die on me yesterday... so I can't take/post any pictures yet.

Edit: Perhaps I should start a new thread for DFI LP/Infinity AM2 series?
