Uncle ah_khoo, do u have any recommendation on AM3 mobo for below RM400?
My cousin looking for a new mobo, he was using the same mobo as i am using but because his misadventures of windows bios flashing the mobo already fly to lalaland
Need a gud mobo to atleast take his Phenom II X4 945 to 3.5~3.6ghz

Unless he can change the NB cooler than thats other,if not go for Gigabyte

I was thinking of that too but maybe can get a SATA3 & USB3 mobo?

pakcik tromen, u should know what board i'll be recommendin mah... biopening is d one to go... a massive board for its price minus d look. oc wise it's d best in my book, price oso wallet friendly... 3.6GHz only meh... even c2 d board is capble of near to 4.0GHz...

depnd on d availability, but if cm nb available, it will just do d job well enuf especially coupled w/ a 4cm fan on top of it... too bad i'm outta d bizness ledi, else i'd really love to try out d gigabyte 770 board...

for u keep changing hardware nvm la use one particular board for short period of time..utromen's cousin might want to use till the system die..kekekeke

That's why lah.. He wanted a good non-xpensive mobo without CF but maybe USB3 & SATA3

sata3 for what? raid 0 on sata3 ssd or velociraptor??? i doubt ppl whose buyin board below rm400 is bothered by that. usb3 mite be useful but still i can't see much of its usage for recent years (1~2 years).

I can't find the details on the Gigabyte 880G mobo tho coz still isn't listed on the Gigabyte website..

Yup only 770TA-USB3 got in m'sia, its only USB3 tho, no SATA3 plus the pwm phase been cut down to 4+1 phase

yup but i doubt mainstream hdd can utilise d bandwidth offered (SATA3).

i dare to bet on my e2160 (joke only) that it's a typo. too good to be true considerin gigabyte always overpriced in mesia.

one more option for poor ppl like me who like to cf dinosaur cards & own a pci-e sound...

where to find one?

hi i hv 1 question about my pc, when i oc to 3.4Ghz and then after 5 minute prime it, my cpu temp going so hot, it reach to 64c, i already use after market cpu cooler (CM TX3)..
can tell me why is this happen?is it CM TX3 not good enough to handle my cpu temp?

vcore too high?..post cpu-z & hwmonitor screenshot please...

my vcore is around 1.4

now i underlock back my cpu to 2.9Ghz

i will oc it again & post the screenshot

so any solution?do i need to adjust my vcore or change cpu cooler?
