Just a short test but still not fully satisfied with my oc, ram maybe is holding me back or maybe the temp itself

BTW ah_khoo, regarding the temp in the latest hardware monitor, should we follow the temp listed under core or the one under CPU?
If under core i think i gonna need to reseat & reapply my Tuniq TX3 for the HSF..

not bad chip, almost some if not most propus aint great clockers compared to deneb.

i always take d highest to be on d safe side, dun really trust core temp since d day of am2. but i heard asus boards do report higher cpu temp iirc. i have a temp probe which i sandwich between d bolt-thru kit & d TRUE Spirit, it gives me a constant 41'c while cpu temp gives me 52'c & core temp records 47'c for most cores. dunno which to trust... but with d volt i'm puttin now, i'm not worried at all. i miss d days where i can pump 1.5~1.7v just for primin... god bless d x2 240...


time for some love spreadin... hexa cores @ 3.7xGHz w 1.23v ONLY... ROG is callin for a 95watter thuban...

i really consent about true voltage.. otherwise how to make sure the OCing proc use correct voltage?

Yup i do have a temp prob but during the assembly of the new board bcoz of my enthusiasm i forgot to put the temp prob at the correct place

IIANM already up the cpu-nb up to 1.125v already, but still cannot pass blend, small ftt still ok

ya, i know d adrenaline rush... if i were to have a ROG EVO board, i'll feel d same way too...

itu ram kasi campak... KVR & ROG EVO combo doesn't seem rite to me bro...

right now we really need to play with the ram more..
coz i believe the cpu not require alot of vcore which normally we tend to pump..

cpu-nb also play a main role on ram side.. maybe it's wants more but not vcore.. need to use the split power-plan wisely..

that's what i tested for a few hours with X6..

Hahahaha, actually jeles with the Gskill value ram me & bro 8tvt pick for our friend last week, it seems to go easily high on frequency..

Can put high 1.75v meh for ddr3? Including my KVR elpida campro?
