that crazy evo mobo.. the thing is if i set <1.25 it goes to 1.18-1.20
if set above >1.25 straight jump to 1.32..

how to set 1.28v..

can't find tune much.. tomorrow must let it go..

lapping is just remove the protective nickel layer on top of the cpu only?
why people want lap cpu? hmm.gif

to reduce d barrier between d contact surfaces for optimum heat transfer?

btw, tis is my 1st time playing wif ddr3 rams, rite now i jz auto OC wif 1.545V vdim, 1600MHz. how much is too much? unsure.gif

u better off run ram @ lower freq w/ tighter timing. smile.gif

too much? it depends much on d chipset runnin on d sticks, elpidas don't like volt while micron are volts biatches... tongue.gif

i think this is bcoz the load line regulation..
it shud be enable to help to stabilize the vcore n nb voltage

tdy i began to explore d settings in bios n tried d OC Tuner Utility n i expected it to boot few times as prescribed in d manual book but it act did in less than a minute... sweat.gif

manually drop the ht link to 2ghz..wont do any good more than 2ghz..

looks to me the vcore kinda high..

what is ur cpu/nb voltage?

sadly, d sys crashed whn d changes made to d vcore n vdimm so i tried to add d multi instead thus getting d max clock @3.88GHz
