I wanna buy an audio system for playing songs and movies (mainly music) for my room. Currently using Edifier and Altec Lansing (both is 2.1). I wanna upgrade but there is a lot of talking. Some say buy hi-fi, hts, computer high-end speakers. So wat you guys think?

I saw a 5.1 channel edifier in a shop cost RM 699. Looks good and sound quite nice.

And also recommend some good speaker for music and cost less than RM 700.
