HI! I just got my HTC Legend. Will insert SIM to it only once I got my epikcase and screen protector.

Is there any cool apps or games that is a MUST for all Legend user?

Can't wait to fully utilize my Legend once my order from AskarPerang reach my home!

Oh, I noticed that my contacts is populated with my facebook friends! And stupid thing is, I have too many friends who liked to put 0xx-xxx1234 as their phone number. Kinda annoys me cos I have to re-edit everything.

I bet it's gonna take time to reorganize everything once I inserted my SIM and import my phonebook

Epikcase is highly recommended. My ear no more pain when talking on the phone with epikcase. HAHAHAHA!

prolly im not used to the edges. last phone i had was some cheap colour screen phone, and it's plasticy. now terus upgrade to this super high tech one

I have yet to put any medias in my sd card. Will my mp3 be auto detected by the music when no matter where i throw the mp3 files? or got any specific folders so the music player can detect??

and another question, those micro sd card speed classes, will it make any significant difference?

No it doesnt. I don't see front camera on my legend.

You guys have issues with importing vCards to your contacts? My friends send sms with a vcard, and whenever i click on it, it will say import complete or success, but i dont see anyone in my contacts. i try clicking few more times, the whole message apps just crash.

I just upgrade to the new firmware. Here's my comment on it.

1. Better battery life. Like super awesome. 5 hours and still 100% which is damn good. Before the upgrade, im getting 2-3% drop, sometime more. I'll comment more on this after a full day use.

2. Pinch zoom in googlemaps. Finally?

3. Sms app is now shit. You're not automatically shown the latest sms when viewing it. You have to scroll all the way down. Im not sure about it when theres new sms, but i hope it doesnt do that. Itll be an ass if i hve to.scroll all the way down just to view an sms.

4. Super annoying beeping sound whenever i shut down my phone. The same beeping when you remove the cable on diskdrive mode.

I was hoping for some bugfix, but looks like it's not. And yeah, no froyo.

im forced to use handcent atm. i still prefer the native sms app though. shouldn't have upgraded my firmware

well, the SMS is at the bottom all the time, before and after the patch. it's just that before the patch, the focus is at the bottom when you click to see the thread. after the patch, it wont focus at the bottom, it focus at the top where it is the earliest of the thread.

Can any of you point me the link to download swype apk? Cant seem to find one that is compatible with my legend...

Btw, any of you experience wrong timestamps on the facebook app? It seems like the times are off by few hours.

If you use Google Maps, there will be data charges. But then again, digi smartplan is data plan, so i guess the charges is already all inclusive.

Go to all apps -> People.
Press menu, go to view and then untick Facebook.
Then press Done.

Your facebook friends is gone from your People list.

You should have read few pages earlier, I was also one of them who complained about this bug... Just use Handcent lor.. what to do...

The only way I know is to use widget locker. It's a paid app though...
