Checkout the garage sale. We have a guy named Terry who sells the Milestone. He gets the stuff from a shop near Midvalley. Its not a retail store but a distributor outlet. So you should get from Terry. He sells it for RM1930. The unit is from HK and the parts are original.

Wow thats a good price! I had to stick with Terry because I wanted to trade in a phone for it. And I'm tired of posting items for sale although I know I could get a higher price.

Most of the Milestone I've checked comes with an AP warranty but we don't really know to what extend it covers. You won't see the usual popular AP companies for some reasons. Frankly speaking, I'll keep fingers crossed because I don't know how good these AP companies are. But to answer your question, warranty yes but what kind of support you will be getting, I DON'T KNOW.

Most probably they may send the unit from where it belong if they cannot resolve the issue over here. Say a hardware fault or a problematic ROM flash. It may or may not cost you. For software issues, I think its pretty clear cut. So make sure you test all the features before purchasing.

That is the state of all newest and greatest Android phone in Malaysia. They are not officially available in retail so we impatient people tongue.gif have to find other means to get it. The good news is I heard Milestone will be eventually sold in Malaysia. So at least worst comes to worst, we can pay a fee to get things fixed here. For N1 lovers, you best bet is to head down to Singapore.

All AP phones are opened. You need to understand the change in hands they go through before landing at the customer. They literally buy it off retail from official countries or through inside sources and then deliver it over to Malaysia. So if you are the 'distributor' you have to test each set to ensure they are working before flying back to Malaysia. I'm not really familiar with the AP business. Perhaps Terry (the trader who sells Milestone) can enlighten us.

Lelong.com.my is just a way to find out who's selling the Milestone. Nowadays, it is common for mobile phone sellers that do have shops to advertise / sell via lelong.com.my as well.

So you need not buy online, just visit their shops.

Yes agreed. If they have a shop, it is likely that they have credit card facilities (some of you prefer to use CC) and trade-in program. Still direct traders usually offer a more competitive price but they don't accept trade-ins. Just one off sales.
