For those that lives in KL, you can use 'KL Traffic Cam' to get live video feeds of traffic. Available on Android Market, SlideMe. For developers familiar with Java/Android - source code is available here - http://code.google.com/p/kltrafficcam/

QUOTE(ebernie @ Mar 7 2010, 10:49 PM) I have KL Traffic Cam from Android Market, running on Milestone with WiFi connection. First menu says "Loading video..." but after a long wait, error message, "File cannot be displayed or played." Next, from options, can open ITIS site with new menus leading to location videos (don't work) and stills (OK). This app is not critical for me but just wondering why a problem, if yours works! 111 |

CreamMilk, what device are you using? So far I've tested on CyanogenMOD (Cupcake) on a G1, Nexus 1 (they're the only devices I have). I can confirm problems on HTC Magic and possibly HTC Hero. So Milestone has issues as well? And you guys say loading the link from the ITIS Wap site don't work too? That is really odd because we're all playing the same video here. But I appreciate the feedback. I'll try to put in remote logging so I can diagnose the problem. |

Still image on ITIS wap site can work, but not video, it said page not found when i click on video. |

I encounter video format not supported and failure to connect to server issues.
Am I right that, the app is just a gateway to traffic cam in ITIS? So it is still very much depend on ITIS server if the video can be loaded in time or not.... Actually I visit the site often but it never end well... most of the time spend waiting... But, thanks for the nice app. It saves me a lot of time to dial in. |

Mywifecar, yes, the software depends on ITIS videos to be working. If the wap site itself fails, then not much I can do. Maybe I should fallback on image if video fails.
