Hi all, I just so happen to land a N1 last week along with a few other friends.

I'm just wondering where are all of you located? I know there are some folks from Pg, but are majority of folks around KL? I'm from Kepong.

Oh, and how many are coders? (evaluating if indeed N1 users are geeks)

And how much does it cost u plus all the shipping cost?

TS would be me right? I did try to get mine shipped to HK when I was on vacation there for a week but that failed miserably (shipping address must be identical to credit card's billing address, urgh).

Anyway, I got mine for free during the recent Singapore Android Developer Labs (attendees got it for free A surprise by Google ). There were 6 attendees from Malaysia.

I'm actually part of CodeAndroid Malaysia (www.codeandroid.my) and we wanna get a developer momentum going on. Anyone interested in coding for Android?

I'm a Java developer by trade, hardcore Eclipse user and used to eat Netbeans fanboys for breakfast.
Was looking into mobile development and very close to embracing Cocoa and all its evil ways before getting a hard slap from this forum that woke me up to Android. These good people here saved my soul or else I would be killing orphans and razing innocent villages in the name of Jobs.

So yeah, I guess I am interested in coding for Android.

I get that a lot nowadays But to be frank, we really didn't know. We we're only asked to volunteer in the developer labs organized by Google so we did. Little did we know that this made sure all of the CodeAndroid SG and CodeAndroid MY would get free Nexus Ones

Why not participate in activities organized by CodeAndroid Malaysia? If there are stuff going on related to Android locally, I'd like to think we'll be one of the first few to know.

I am from Batu Pahat . Andoid is very new to me - so far dissapointed with my Nexus One as I always tend to compare it with my HD2. All the builtin apps I find is poor compared with WM6.5. Anyway since have spend 2.4K on it, still learning how to use and will be rooting the phone next week to expand the possibilities. This is great forum and has learn a lot of stuffs here

Bro you have to understand android is very new and the applications library are already starting to build...to be honest m pretty impress with the recent increase of application in the android market and tgevquality is vast improving.

I am very impressed with the nexus one in so many ways specially when it cones to speed dang this bb is fast. The design for the phone is slick and smooth kinda sexy

Anyway guess everyone has their two cents

Me..ever since I got my Android last end if 01/10 could not stop fiddling with it and believe me these are my daily happenings with my Android :

1. Always on the web at least 12 hours a day
2. I charge my Android at least twice within 24 hours
3. I will download at least three news apps a day
4. I will always be on YouTube at least 4 hours a day

BTW I am around Shah Alam..To venture into Rooting soonest possible..

More than a month of using my 1st Android, still have very much to play around with even without root. Imagine wat I can do with root! Okay, not that rooting on the Milestone has options like other phones, but still...very customizable compare to iPhone. Oh I'm from Melaka
