just stare at ur cpu-z more than 5 second ur can see speed clock fluctuation.

i got a frend... his default speed is 2.6ghz but running in 1.9ghz ya...
i helped him by disabling the "cool & quiet" feature in bios setting... then it went back to the 2.6ghz...i don know ur board has this feature or not..... hope that this can help u... just have a try

The answer is simple. Your clock speed is generated from the CPU multiplier x FSB/BCLK. The FSB number fluctuates a little and every motherboard would have a different reading of FSB slightly. As such, 200FSB doesn't always mean 200FSB sharp, it can be 199.7 or 200.3, etc. Hence if you look at your screen shot, your FSB is 199.5 which is why you're running 2.793Ghz (14 x 199.5)

If your board can manage to run the FSB at 200 sharp and does not fluctuate then you'll be getting 2.8Ghz smile.gif No big deal, it's normal to have some inaccuracy in the overall clock speed. I hope this answers your question.
