My sub-sale case about to complete (I am the buyer). My lawyer has stamped the loan agreement and file to the High Court. Today, they say that they sent the delivery boy to serve notice to the developer. I am not sure this is strange but: according to my lawyer, the developer may not want to acknowledge the document on the spot and might ask them to collect the document another day, because the developer might want to check if there's any outstanding amount. To me, this doesn't sound too logical, because the seller supposed to settle everything before the total transaction coming to the end, so, what is it for the developer to check?
anyone kind enough to explain this? thanks
anyway, I will call up the lawyer again on the next working day to check....
Serve notice to the developer, developer still nit to check outstanding
