I applied for Unifi last week ever since i was i founded out that my area is ready to do installation.but yesterday i cancelled it yesterday to upgrade my current streamyx to 4mbps.

Now awaiting for the upgrade registration to be processed.I wonder if my torrenting speed will be improved.

i cancelled converting to unifi due to the capping issues.i really want to see downloading at full 4mbps speed!

Installer came today to my house and activate the 4mbps upgrade for my current 1mbps line.

I got this modem from him.it's a DLink DSL-2640B ADSL2/2+ Modem with Wireless Router.



Installer told me he went to the store and couldnt find the standard Riger Wireless Modem ( Not a Router ) thus give me this Dlink one.
He did some activation through the internet and told me another 2 days that i will get 4mbps speed.

Yeaps there's 4 Lan Port.

I remembered seeing the installer's worksheet for my home stating to give innacomm modem.guess i was lucky after all.

Maybe users able to ask the installer for dlink modem before they actually do the house visit?

Sigh,still awaiting my connection speed to capped at 4mbps.i've contacted my installer twice and the result is still the same.

Your snr and line attention is at very good levels.you could go up to 6mb without any problems at all.

owh...that's just too bad.perhaps changing ur telephone wires will help if it's too old.

that's the only down part.upload speed only 512kbps.

all streamyx packages except 4mbps will either be using 115 or 60.x .
Premium ips such as 124 , 175 and 218 are catered to 4mbps customers.

Next time before complaining,ask their name 1st.

Same goes for me.my 4mbps activated on the 16th and still havent receive the DECT phone.sien.
