Vostro 3700 weighted the same with Qosmio F60, 2.7kg XD

2.7Kg? Quoted from brochures?
After looking at quite a number of brochures I would say that most facts are not very "true" (Just like KFC's food advertisements that always look so big but in fact are "microscopic" haha)... But companies are smart, they won't lie to you, so they would write something like "starting from 2.7kg"
The Qosmio F60- BD531 is heavier than 2.7kg ^^ The 2.7kg is for the i3 1 >___<

Well, even if the Vostro 3700 weights merely a 2.7kg, its vast dimensions may still be a problem for portability I think (I am not particularly fond of huge laptops haha, no offence to people who love dekstop replacements XD XD)

After looking through more, the Vostro weighted 2.9KG...

abt there for a 17"...

i believe Vostro 3700 2.9KG should be quite light for a 17' laptop coz sxps16 also more or less around that weight (we r talking about 15.6' screen, not 16' yet)

and it;s looks juz about as thick as other vostro as well

wow.. nice design. LOL~! but 17" is biig~! my monitor is 17" so just have to imagine it as a wide screen. and walaa it is super(big).

yeah. me too.. i prefer 14, and can go as far as 16inch.

lol, but i am already finding my 14" heavy and is thinking of netbook...

13'' is the best for me, 14'' is the max

Perhaps it would be best to have 2 laptops? ^^
Then we can have the best of both worlds XD

Or hope for another M13x, M14x from Alienware? hehehe!

for me, the balance between performance and mobility is 15' ^^

well, i guess my combo would be 15"/16" + netbook...

m11x is NOT light, btw... had a feel in the shop today...

Yup, some shop in lowyat plaza are already displaying M11x apart from the usual M15x. Weighing at approximately 2.0kg, it has almost the same weight as most 13'- 14' laptops XD But who cares, its an Alienware hahaha!!
It'll be cool to be able to own 1 ^^

What's your say after "feeling" the M11x? ^^
There was a time when I was having a hard time choosing a M11x or a 15.6' multimedia laptop hahaha.... its that attractive!

Agreed... the only setback of the m11x is actually the processor and the screen T____T which is why I chose the F60 instead XD
