I'm looking a replacement for my old XtracRipper mousepad and when I browsed Roccat's, I really have not much idea regarding the surface like and I really hope anyone that experienced wouldn't mind to share it here smile.gif

From what I learned from their website, both Taito and Sense are soft mat while Sota give sort like "harder" type than mat. Please do correct me if I'm wrong sweat.gif

Any different between Taito and Sense beside their heights? Would the mousepad be some sort of "mat" or "cloth" type thingy? I'm actually looking for some "cloth" or "mat" based type and slight friction will be nice than frictionless smile.gif

I had XtracPro before which is frictionless, I never use it again till now sweat.gif

this is my humble opinion, in term of quality surface quality, compare razer goliathus and roccat taito of coz taito won lot. in term of softness it almost same but taito are more smooth while gliding using mouse.. both are comfortable but i much prefer taito and the height almost same. compare to price, its same but taito more larger and good.

for fps gaming, i much prefer roccat than razer. No wonder its best among world gaming product as 2yrs R&D.

Roccat Kone, that definitely on my list of item that I'm getting smile.gif

But at the mean time, what I would need at the moment would be a replacement for my old XtracRipper mousepad. I been using it for 5 years already and still counting. It's just the same for my Logitech MX518 that equipped with Hyperglide skates.

From what you described Taito, I guess it is almost the same with my current XtracRipper. Soft and smooth gliding. Thanks for your picture, now I do have exactly how the Roccat Taito will look like. BTW, how would it be when Taito compared to Sense and Sota? unsure.gif

P/S: That an old photo. Now I moved to a new desk attached with MouseBungee laugh.gif (but still not Roccat's since it haven't release tongue.gif)

just got my Roccat Sense mousepad from moderno, but I find that it doesnt suit me (sadly, as i liked the design), plan to sell it off, any takers? hmm.gif

Why Roccat Sense doesn't suits you, care to clarify please?

I hope myself not to make the same mistake, or perhaps I can buy it over from you smile.gif

maybe he prefers the cloth surface

Eh? Isn't Roccat Sense is cloth surface? blink.gif

And... if I'm not mistaken, only Roccat Sota will give "plastic" feel than Taito and Sota unsure.gif

Hmm, actually maybe I've decided too early (that it doesnt suit me)

now I'm giving the mouse pad a second try (due to the design of it which I liked very much), kind of starting to like it.. tongue.gif

I can say, for a mousepad, roccat sense is really top notch in terms of quality,

however not every mousepad suits every user right?  laugh.gif

So it stills depends on the user themselves in the end

Sure there is something that make you doesn't feel like it for the first time. I would be curious to know that kind of "feeling" and if you wouldn't mind to share it out, that would be good laugh.gif

I wonder if any shop got these mousepads in display so I can actually "feel" the surface before I buy them? unsure.gif
