I wonder if this is a normal issue with Roccat Kone, my left click recently started to register double clicks a lot. Not to mention my scroll wheel is squeeking too.

QUOTE(SheepKilledMe @ Aug 13 2011, 07:42 AM) if its not driver problem, its normal for mouse to have that problem, razer mouse got alot. Previously I used Krait, Copperhead and Diamondback before.. didn't encounter this kinda double click issue yet. Even my previous A4tech X7 mouse also no such problem before something like this http://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/showthread.php?t=1793115 use contact cleaner.. if still prob, then need to open the thing u sprayed on and fix its copper plate. mouse need maintenance now and then Side note, opening up the mouse... won't it void warranty already? Anyone using Roccat Sota here? Mine is starting to warp, it isn't flat anymore. Is this normal once a mouse pad has aged? My working surface has always been my table which is completely flat.

Happened to my Sota as well. I asked my seller, he mentioned its not eligible for warranty. And besides my Kone RMA is taking ages! ._. I'm losing my confidences and patience with Roccat products already.

QUOTE(wuakaka91 @ Nov 3 2011, 04:54 PM) Is true.. alot of sucks distro in malaysia.. BUT, we have to know whether its your seller problem or really the distro problem.. We have to know the real story before we condemn the distro ma... muahaha... i met quite a few lousy distro before, i mean, warranty eff-ing delay... You are able to RMA your Sota due to warpage? QUOTE(paradis3lost @ Dec 13 2011, 11:28 PM) The problem is my friend actually bought a version of the Kone that is supposed to be recalled back because of some manufacturing flaw that makes the scroll wheel prone to spoil. I encountered similar issue, but not sure if my batch is faulty or not. But the scroll wheel spoiled in less than 3 months. Also took long time for RMA...Supposed to be a one-to-one swap for a defective model, but it took them 3 months to RMA. |

Finally got back my Roccat Kone which I RMA months ago due to 1. double click issue and 2. faulty scroll wheel.
I got it back, and was told my unit was replaced with a refurbished unit. And to my amaze, the refurbished unit was even more worn out than my 6 months old Kone back then! I'm very disappointed with Roccat, my first and last time buying this brand ever... Both Kone and Sota failed on me. |
