After my Siberia Full-Size died on me, I switched to Roccat Kave and had been loving it ever since.

Any Roccat Kave users here? If there is, what soundcards(w/o the 7.1 surround sound) do you recommend for a without breaking the bank? From my observation, Asus Xonar DG seems to be recommended.
Since I'm using the on-board ones, the input for the rear is not present,so certain background music elements are omitted. This post has been edited by UserU: May 11 2012, 09:45 PM |

QUOTE(jasmineivan @ Jun 13 2012, 08:53 PM) True, I agree that Kave performance really good compare to anything at the same price range, but got 1 weakness, the weight. Can't agree more; the cushion pads somewhat 'tugs' at my hair in a certain direction, which can be painful too.I can't stand for continous 2 hours wearing kave |

Only if it combo with a decent sound card. I'm currently searching for a Xonar DG.
Since I'm using the integrated one, and without the Sub input present, I can't fully experience it(some audios are omitted) |

QUOTE(ir1z @ Jun 17 2012, 10:23 AM) Also to UserSu dont think u need sonar DG, wont improve that much unless youre going more higher end than that card IMHO. Then may you enlighten me which is a better one?I'm not looking for a high end one, just one within the RM100 budget range. Because when I listen to music, some of the background audio are cut. I don't know whether Sub input was the main cause(my motherboard SC doesn't include a sub). I used a Steelseries USB soundcard before and there were no problems. |

QUOTE(ir1z @ Jun 17 2012, 12:11 PM) well if your current mobo doesnt have a sub which is needed than getting the DG would suffice i think. As myself im only using the onboard Creative Soundblaster X-Fi Digital Audio Processor (20K2) on my mobo..... Yep, my ASUS mobo doesn't have it included, so I'll just go for the DG. I've no plans to spend extra on the cards like yours yet QUOTE(jasmineivan @ Jun 17 2012, 05:44 PM) The additional bass seems to weight those cans down, since it practically guarantees 5.1 surround. On a side note, the Roccat thread seems to be pretty dead. |

QUOTE(jasmineivan @ Jun 17 2012, 11:13 PM) For me the most satisfying roccat product is Kave. Same here; Logitech G15v2 for keyboard and Razer Lachesis for mouse Mice, keyboard, mouse mat, I prefer any other brand than roccat. I won't say roccat not good but too ordinary for me and not so attractive. Can't always stick to one brand. |
