Just got the Kova today. I have a few questions.

1. If i lose the receipt, or without the receipt is it still possible to reclaim warranty from the distributor?
2. Has anyone's kova failed before? How did it fail?

Edited to avoid misleading people

2. Has anyone's kova failed before? How did it fail?

A little story on how i got my mouse:

I tried searching for the Kova at Lowyat (Viewnet/AllIT/SriCom) but there were none. So i went over to Times Square as a last resort and i managed to find two units for sale at the one of the shops on the 2nd level of the IT centre. I can't remember what was the name of the shop.

They were selling the Kova for RM 229 and i told them that the Kova is only for RM 199 on lowyat forums. The shop keeper did not hesitate to sell it at RM 200 so i bought it immediately. He told me "this one no receipt" so i asked him what about the warranty and he replied "if anything just come back here and i will send it back".

I went back to Borders to meet my father and i told him about the no receipt thing and my father insisted there should be a receipt so we went back to that shop. The shop keeper quickly wrote a receipt for me and we went off.

At the moment, i have no complains about the mouse but i am worried about the warranty.

Their address: Lot 05-08 IT Center (T2-20) 2nd Floor Berjaya Times Square No.1 Jln Imbi 55100 KL

JLK PC CENTER

If you're sending it directly to the distributor, I don't think there's a need for the receipt. I believe the receipt is required by the shop as to confirm that they're the one that sold you the item, because they're gonna have to pay the fees for sending back to the distributor, if I'm not mistaken.

Nope, not here yet. And I totally can't find it on the American e-tailers as well.

There are a lot of resellers here who sell this. For example:

48 Euros? Interesting price.

Wonder how much would the shipping cost be to bring it over here.

It depends on the company either they will ship their products internationally or not. icon_rolleyes.gif

Thanks for the info. I am slightly relieved smile.gif I have sent an email to the distributor regarding the warranty, see if they have anything to say.

Okay, will see if I can get it soon. I rather dislike the notion of spending close to RM300 to get an Orochi for wireless works.

And rather heartbroken when Roccat has not sent the Pyra over here as of yet.

should be around RM248.

I checked Kone's price, €53,54.
Convert to MYR, RM216++. Kone selling price in MY is RM269,
So RM269 - RM216 = RM53 (I assumed this this the tax, handling fees etc.)

Pyra is €47,99
Convert to MYR RM195. RM195 + RM53 = RM248 laugh.gif
