Okay, will see if I can get it soon. I rather dislike the notion of spending close to RM300 to get an Orochi for wireless works. And rather heartbroken when Roccat has not sent the Pyra over here as of yet.

Well a Vire is more worth it that the Moray or Siberia In-Ear when you think of it, but I can't really say about the performance since I haven't tried it before.

Kova is an ambidextrous mouse compared to the Ikari which is right handed ergonomic. The Kova also has some bling bling.

Battery life is kinda expected and got around 7 hours on a single charge. They included 2 AAA GP Batteries.

Well I never actually let the battery run dry. Once it starts running low, the effects are very noticeable. Poor tracking, bad aiming, random spinning.

The Pyra does not have a hybrid mode. It's 100% wired or wireless only.
If you plug the Pyra Wireless to its USB charger, it does not enter sleep mode after a while and gets pretty warm due to the charging batteries. But you still need the receiver to use the mouse regardless. |

QUOTE(lencent @ Oct 18 2010, 07:46 PM) hi, how's the battery life of pyra with normal usage? i'm not a heavy gamer, but just want a wireless mouse. would like to get some inputs from u all. I get roughly 6 hours on casual usage. 5 if I'm going hardcore gaming. Would have to replace the batteries to see if they make any difference.thanks! QUOTE(jasmineivan @ Oct 19 2010, 10:40 PM) if i only compare kova and pyra wired..definitely kova better right?? Pyra has the Easy Shift feature so more functions are rolled into it. The Kova however is totally driverless and can't macro anything apparently. Also depends on the size of the mouse you need. Pyra is approx. 3cm shorter than the Kova.pyra is only advance for the shift function right?? |

QUOTE(chickybun @ Oct 24 2010, 07:21 PM) bros I don know about Roccat Pyra wireless users but I just bought myself one. I have to agree that it creaks when I grip it tightly but otherwise it's quite solid. I have a feeling that the ROCCAT blue track sensor isn't sensitive enough to work on white surfaces. I tried it and it's not exactly responsive. Black surfaces however are fine.Whenever I hold (use) the mouse with my normal strength, there is always a sound (very slight crack sound) occasionally. This is because Roccat Pyra has too much joints or parts that makes them together. Looks to me like built in a cheap way for the price though. Don't take my opinion seriously though. Just my personal experience Desperate to buy Razer Orochi Razer Mamba is the bessst to me |

Wow... bummer. Hopefully you don't get an 'affected' mouse then once you get your replacement.

I give the CH a positive review if it wasn't for the problems I had with it after 9 months.

I was planning to get an Orochi if Pyra didn't come in earlier.

Exactly.
But I kinda doubt it will happen soon. Wireless so happens to be in the realm of the unreliable for pro gamers. |
