For Kave 5.1 heaphone users, how do you deal with the hissing from plugging into the USB for power? Even using a adapter from the wall power socket - USB still have the hiss?

Added: I'm on SoundBlaster X-Fi soundcard

Roccat Announces Sense Chrome Blue Edition Gaming Mousepad
QUOTE
ROCCAT, the Hamburg-based manufacturer of professional gaming accessories, presents an addition to the legendary ROCCAT Sense High Precision Gaming Mousepad – one of the world’s most popular mousepads. The new ROCCAT Sense Chrome Blue features a revised surface, more intense colours and is just 2mm high. The special microcrystalline coating incorporated into the fabric surface is ultra-effective at minimizing frictional resistance between the mouse and the pad thereby noticeably improving the gliding capability of mice. At the same time there is hardly any noise: the mouse glides almost silently over the ROCCAT mousepad. The new ROCCAT Sense Chrome Blue High Precision Gaming Mousepad is available now.

Features:
- Minimized friction thanks to the microcrystalline coating bonded to an ultra-soft neoprene backing
- Vast gliding area and precise pointer positioning
- Fully rubberized backing for the perfect amount of grip on any surface
- Dimensions: 400x280mm | Height: 2mm
- Developed in conjunction with international pros

Quite rare to see gaming mouse wheel malfunction.

I put my hand on a kone before as well, can feel that the click are not as responsive as most of my collection (steelseries, razer, logitech). Then it has 1 advantage, the click much quieter than other mouse.

BTW, whole piece of kone just seems as a gimmick for me and Roccat won't take away a single cent from me through this product.

Oh well, they replaced me with a brand new sealed unit instead. Let's see how long this unit will last... this round letting my brother enjoy the new Kone since I'm already used to my Logitech G700. I'll faint if I need to continue this RMA cycle till warranty is over doh.gif

Apuri rocks! The reaction when friends make the first time they see it... priceless. Haha.

Really unique product with nice style and design to it. Perfect for those with a blue/black setup.

Roccat Announces New Illuminated Gaming Mice
QUOTE
Gaming peripheral manufacturer Roccat Studios said last week that three new mice will be hitting the North American market sometime between the end of October and the beginning of November. This new batch includes the Kone XTD Max Customization Gaming Mouse, the Kone Pure Core Performance Gaming Mouse, and the previously announced Lua Tri-Button mouse.

The Kone XTD is the successor to the "legendary" Kone[+] gaming mouse, packing added capabilities while keeping the Kone form factor intact. The same goes with the Kone Pure to some degree, but Roccat slimmed this one down to 91-percent of the Kone[+] size while adding "competition-crushing power."

On a more technical level, both gaming mice feature the latest 8200 DPI Pro Aim R3 laser sensor, a 32-bit Turbo Core 2 72 MHz ARM MCU processor, and "the most advanced Tracking & Distance Control Unit around." Both offer a range of ergonomic features and gaming software for maximum customization.

Finally there's the Lua. It's the least flashy of the three, but packs its own gaming punch for the price. It too features an illuminate Roccat logo on the back, but gamers can only set it to breathe, to remain constantly lit, or turn it off completely. It also packs a fully-adjustable Pro-Optic sensor and a rugged, ambidextrous V-shape form factor. That said, it's built for left and right-handed gamers who want an entry-level gaming mouse but don't want to compromise on performance.

"Continuing a dedication to building the world’s highest quality gaming gear, each of the new mice is built mega-tough using only the highest-quality materials, inside and out," the company said. "From robust exteriors to premium inner electronics, everything on the new devices is state-of-the-art and built to last."

The Kone XTD, Kone Pure and Lua are expected to hit shelves by the end of October/beginning of November, 2012, with a suggested retail price of $89.99 (Kone XTD), $69.99 (Kone Pure), $29.99 (Lua).

Got a Roccat Apuri recently, a powered USB 2.0 hub + mouse bungee. A nice desktop addon, the downside is its LED light is too bright when trying to sleep at night.

just got a roccat valo ytd and it's quite nice except for some flaws that were mention previously by some users. i can live with the whine from the backlight but i was a little disappointed with the backlight of the keys. very dim as lvl 2 is the brightest setting. lvl3-5 does nthg pretty much as stated even by stratos way way some time ago. overall i would still say it's gud since i got it for half the original price 2 years back and i'm a big fan of macros keys. the more the better for me.
