There will a MIFF related ID Design fair at Matrade this weekend. Anyone going?
I will be looking for some home renovations such as autogate , water filter & lightnings/electricals. Do u think we can get better deals during these kind of home fairs?

There are 3 concurrent fairs ie in KLCC, PWTC & Matrade. What's the difference? HAs anybody been there? Is it more for trade/industry buyers vs public?

In 2010, MIFF Sdn Bhd is introducing ID Trends in conjunction with MIFF 2010. While MIFF 2010 caters to the international market, ID Trends will provide contract furniture and home living solutions for Malaysians. Contract manufacturers and interior designers will be available to consult visitors so that they’ll be able to make smart choices for their home or offices.
MIFF is for industry people. A "side-show" ID TREND is held on conjunction with MIFF is for "common people" like us smile.gif

But under admission, it says:

"MIFF 2010 is open to trade visitors from the industry and invited guests only.
Admission is free for invited and pre-registered visitors before 31 January 2010.
For non-registered visitors, visitors are required to register with business card upon arrival at the registration counter. Entrance fee is RM20.
The public will only be admitted on 6 March 2010. " ??

Only the ID Design is open to public? Not the other venues?

Been there. seen hot chicks in miniskirt. Maybe what they meant is "try not to look sloppy". They let me in even though my hair gel dried up (freakin hot day) and I returned to my "just-woken-up" look.
