there's no backup which can restore 100% of the phone content .. Nokia will not do tat .. wta's recommended is backup ure SMS n Contacts .. not the apps .. settings .. etc

Yes you can. Make sure backup via Pc/Ovi Suite.

XM, got tutorial how to add language to XFW? I've tried looking at several CFW making guides in Dailymobile and extracted chinese language from original v40 firmware and repacked the XFW files with it but still the chinese language is not added in

Today i went to NSC , them told me the firmware v4.0.0.0.5 have the problem on home screen , no encourage to use , them installed the version 31.0.101 for me ..
first question , that is real ?
Second question . should i update v4.0.0.05 from pc by myself ?

5800XM can OC? (yes/NO)

1. Homescreen problem is a lie, but its not stable. As for the problems on v40, there are currently the famous charging bug (lights will not go off after charging with phone ON and locked)

2. Nokia removed v40 for certain areas, including Malaysia. I recommend you either to flash to a CFW/XFW (custom firmware) or, wait for the next update from Nokia itself (hopefully it will come out)

As long as you backup both Phone memory and Memory card restoration will be 99.9% identical. When u backup everything you have a choice to choose which to restore which u dont want.

My 5800 dies off once in awhile. Even when the battery is fully charged.

Usually happens when:

I record video for more than 10 minutes.

or

When I'm driving long distant using GPS. (I normally plug to charger)


And when I try to on back, it'll show that NOKIA logo for like 30 seconds, then will off again. Have to on like 8-10 times only will on properly.

And the phone will be hot.

How come???
