I tot its free tats y its called LITE .. another method is with hacking using Hello OX2 and activating Record Tone Off Patch and record using Nokia's built in recorder (works only for v31.0.101) since v40 now manual flashing

Hi, anyone know whats the default font for the Nokia 5800 v40?

dunno .. get ureself, dnt expect ppl extract FW n tell the font name .. bis u never took effort do so, e wont either ..

the reason bcos some CFW/XFW not having ROM Patcher auto default .. check few posts back, and again, i suggest u to read all 5800 threads b4 asking repetation questions, we're moving fast .. and doont talk abt basic thingy, we're at intermediatte discussions

If read only I did it with my custom font.

hey..is it when I lock my 5800, it will vibrate once and whehn I unlock it, it will vibrate like twice???

Added on March 19, 2010, 11:35 ambox box mean u don't have the proper chinese fonts install (or load up), extract the XFW4.0EC using the nokia editor and check ROFS2\Resources\Fonts folder make sure these fews language fonts is there:

1. S60SC_C.ttf (simplify chinese)
2. S60TCHK_C.ttf (tradisional chinese)

u might find more fonts in there but the above 2 fonts are the one that support chinese

u can pack in any fonts u like into that folder and repack the rofs2 then flash loh...

I didnt expect ppl extract FW, juz if someone came across the name then could tell me.
Now i know the FW can be extract, so i'll do it rite away now. Thanks for ur help.

not sure this can resolve the auto start rompatcher or not... try at ur own risk

download the attached file and follow below instructions:

Instruction:
- Copy swicertstore.dat files to rofs2\resource\, overwriting the default one. (rename the file in the attachment)
- After flashing, then install the 20 Caps RP+ 2.3.
- Copy all patches to E:\patches, then launch RP+ 2.3.
- Now RP+ has "auto-apply" ability after restart / Hard Reset.

don't ask me ini itu, because till now i'm still "virgin" in manual rom flashing
