Scanned through the list of "patents" that they were referring to and it is totally ridiculous.
Practically they are indicating that all other phones should revert back to the version that graham bell invented...

QUOTE(cleave @ Mar 3 2010, 01:18 PM) Microsoft should bring them to court too for creating a 'useless, non-multitasking OS'. It's general knowledge that it's a patent for MS-DOS. Lol, that's a good one Being someone who admired (still do...) the apple iphone (despite used to own 4 of those but none actually works perfectly...), I think it's a shame that apple can't take competitions as it is... Rather than suing everyone else on the face of the earth, might as well spend those time and money on their r&d and offer its fans the product that they really deserve at a more reasonable price? I seriously doubt they will win the case.

QUOTE(faridaizuddin @ Mar 5 2010, 08:46 AM) Apple is actually trying to find weaknesses on other competitor.. They seems like just knew HTC is grow up greatly and maybe against them someday?? Or at last people are defusing Apple's brands?? I think the better word to put this would be "loopholes". I don't think what HTC+Android have against the iphone os are weakness. They are innovations and obviously apple takes that as a threat to their existance. At least this shows that HTC+Android actually manage to give some real good competition to the iphone and that apple actually "acknowledge" this. When they can't compete, they will just search high and low for loopholes to save themselves.

QUOTE(rammsky @ Mar 7 2010, 12:44 AM) Apple is just being sour grapes about it. With great success with iPhone, they've become really greedy and do not even want to lose a small percentage of their market share. Well, can't say that they are not worried as the small percentage now seems to have great potential to fight for a much bigger piece of the cake.
