Actually I find it strange that they didn't realise that their prototype can be leaked easily in china.

5 years ago I heard china was manufacturing their own DVD player using Sony's DVD player casing. The only difference was the Brand sticker was changed. Turns out that the supplier supplying Sony's DVD players casing was also supplying the same casing to another china dvd player manufacturer. After that sony moulded the brand name together with the casing so that other manufacturerer couldn't use it.

My point is didn't Apple expect that their prototype will be leaked?
