Hi, anyone know any courier company accepts personal name to open account with them?

I do not want to register any company just to open courier acc for my online business.

Plese share with me if you know.

So far i have asked that poslaju does not accept.

that's true, pos malaysia will need names for a registered company.

As for skynet, they mentioned that they accept individual to register but there's a quota to hit per month. Not sure whether this is still valid, got the info somewhere last year july~

Hi,

Pro and cons for using own account to open up courier companies

High trading rev for high incentive but for new setup, difficult to get the shipping cost required to be more competitive in the market and also the profitability

Pm me and will show you how to cut cost and still send out yr shipment <2.5KG at price of below market range

Hopefully this helps

Yes I am... I emailed Skynet to ask about the registerations. Then 1 of skynet staff Called me and asked about my business. Then he told me that if personal business I'll have to deposit Rm300 and have to meet up with him so he can show me the rates and details.

but this is Penang Branch. I'm not sure about other branch..

I called up Penang branch but they do not need any deposit from me, the T&C is i need to hit rm50-60 per mth if I open acc via personal name...

Kangaroo need rm200 for registration then will deduct each transaction from this RM200 until finish then have to top up again.

oic. tx for the update. one thing i dont like abt skynet is that they set double standard for their opening acc policy. i called kl branch but they said they are no longer allow personal acc even with upfront dep

however, i heard quite a lot of users of other states holding skynet accout by paying certain amt of deposit or maintaining min parcels per mth
