Sorry guys, i hope this is the right place to post this.
I'm about to get one PS3, just need experts advice here for feedbacks.

I have a Creative Soundblaster Audigy Value, which has 3 Line Outs, and 1 Line In, If i connect PS3's video signal to my Samsung 22" PC monitor via HDMI, Can i connect the audio out from SCART(PS3) which has 2 jacks(Red & White) to a 2 to 1 jacks, so that it can be connected to my Sound Card using the only one Line In,

Will i be receiving audio signal from my soundcard thru my PC speakers connected to one of the Line Out from my sound card?

If your monitor support sound out through HDMI then you can connect to the SC directly from the monitor.

If you want to connect via stereo RCA then connect the PS3 to the SC via a 2-female-RCA-to-3.5mm lead/cable.

If you want to connect from SCART.. are you sure you are using this 1-adapter-with-21-pins connection? huh.gif

This i m not sure, coz i have yet to get the PS3, from the back, there's one Audio Output connection in the PS3, which i believe is a SCART connection which has 2 rca for audio and one composite for video at the other end of the SCART, so my intention is to use the 2 stereo RCAs from SCART to connect to a Stereo-to-one RCA adapter, so it can be connected to my Creative Audigy's LINE IN,

So, i may have audio sound coming from my PC speakers that's connected to the LINE OUT from my soundcard, at the same time, can i also play MP3s from my PC?so i can enjoy sound from PS3 and music from my PC....is it able to work this way,

Thank you for your valuable feedback...

This is SCART and rarely used unless you are in Europe

That 2 RCA is stereo via RCA blush.gif You need to connect the 2 RCA to a (common) converter so that your SC can accept.

Sorry if i'm wrong, is this the scart cable that is given when we buy PS3, this is the one i'm talking bout, that has 2 RCAs(red & white) and one composite for video. And the SCART is connected to the AV Out from the PS3.

Planning to get AEGO M 2.1

Added on March 4, 2010, 12:58 pmHowever, i dun think there is audio signal being transferred to my sound card from PS3 using the SCART cable from the AV output, when HDMI is connected to the PC monitor, coz audio signal will be carried using HDMI, unless i have to use the audio out from the PC monitor.
