yeah i get same problem.. file the extra away, but then the coloring is off. i use gundam markers to cover the marks, but must be of exact shade. lucky my gf okayed d purchase.... an alternative is to cut as close as you can; i find that some nail clippers can do the trick. but difficult to control the depth of cut.
