saw marty friedman in town around year 2003 or was it 2004. not so much of a person to talk to about clinical playing (as compared to andy timmons when he was also in town) as few have questions him of his style of playing, somehow mostly he juz answered 'i just played!' at that time some were invited to jam with him on the stage. i remember one of them, a chinese boy, played 'kaw-kaw' where while jamming with marty he started tapping! marty was like bowing to him straight away! marty said he dont do tapping! that was funny
