QUOTE(low98944 @ May 7 2010, 11:51 AM) I still not sure abt it...cause it stated Region A player...although you can change it to a Region B player by pressing some remote control buttons. Is Coraline Region Free BD?.....Seems like my player can play it...so meaning its OK for me to buy from Amazon.UK.....cos Amazon.com seems like got nothing one. |

QUOTE(horray @ May 7 2010, 12:30 PM) It has been mentioned several times on this thread as well as on bluray.liesinc.net that LOTR trilogy from UK is not region free (but region B) and therefore it will not play on local region A BD players and PS3. But on the Prime 3.0, it should be fine, I believe. Actually I'm getting Troy, Chronicle Riddick, and Journey Center Earth 3D from Amazon UK......Later maybe getting LOTR...thanks for the info |

QUOTE(putih @ May 7 2010, 02:57 PM) Just be careful dude.. they are cheap but they are mostly substandard BD press. The expensive ones around 17 pounds are OK. I got 4-5 cheap titles from UK all have sticker "FOR RESALE OR RENTAL" on the cover ... wtf, and the video bitrates are not impressive at all - average 15Mbps only. PQ same or slightly better than DVD. But SQ are no issue. Example of titles with this are - Stealth, The patriots, Tear of the sun, Serenity. Now, I'm ordering back from US - more expensive, but I got REAL BD man...I was waiting a few days for a comment like this...ohh...now you tell me...ordered oledi How to know bro?...is there are website that talks abt UK BD?...I ordered those from 6.37~7.65 pounds each. Thanks... maskedchan...why never inform me abt this This post has been edited by azbro: May 7 2010, 03:10 PM |

I can only hope for the best....should have waited a little longer for more feedbacks
Next time gonna order from Amazon.com All right then.. How to compare this same title...Chronicles of Riddick? UK version: Directors Cut = Runtime 128min http://www.amazon.co.uk/Chronicles-Riddick...73218041&sr=8-1 US version: Unrated Directors Cut = Runtime 119min http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001RTCP1..._rd_i=193640011 But when I check Imdb. Original movie is 119min....and Directors Cut is USA 134min Confuse This post has been edited by azbro: May 7 2010, 03:51 PM |

QUOTE(maskedchan @ May 7 2010, 04:36 PM) sorry bro..my mistake Never mind...learn from mistakes...next time I order from Amazon.com easier...never know you so particular on the bitrate stuff.. i myself also seldom buy from amazon uk dont like the nipple.. only buy from amazon.com What done is done...hope the movies I ordered are up to the quality standard. Every time I read the user review in Amazon UK, sure got someone say superb quality transfer...even for the movie "Stealth" which a member pointed out the DVD copy looks better than the BD UK version...not so easy to believe even the reviews.
