hi. first of all i just got this iphone 3g from my brother. he bought it through maxis, and i am also using a postpaid maxis simcard. so today i restored the iphone and now at the emergency call screen after unlocking my sim card the phone just stays at the emergency call menu!

what should i do?? from what i understand since the original carrier is maxis and im also using maxis then i dont have to bother with the unlocking thingie which is not possible in 3.1.3 so surely thats not the problem?

any help please?

ps: ive restored the phone twice prior to this and it worked fine : /

yeah this is my 3rd restore tonight alone... been going at it since 7pm.. driving me crazy!!!! is it normal for the activation to take more than half an hour or something??

already did that but guess i dont really have a choice.. will try restoring thru dfu again.. argh!
