btw i personally think that iphone 4 is better than others series because i just hold and tried it at the gathering. faster proc speed really means something as we can use the iphone to its extend.

the only advantage for 3gs is the price, which the 3gs 8gb RRP will probably be around rm500 cheaper than ip4 16gb. so if u go for 3gs, what would you spend rm500 for?

its 3.1.3 is the latest version that can be supported by iphone 2G. ios4 cannot be supported anymore as apple stop making firmware for the iphone 2g.

Alright, I need help but I don't know where to look for. Please help! =*(

iPhone 3GS 16GB(Orange UK Telco LOCKED version)
- was originally 3.1.2 jailbroken and unlocked
- I wanted to reformat my phone so I backed up with iTunes and started the restoring process with itunes.. Everything went well until it suddenly stopped and gave error. It was in a recovery mode loop. Tried again, and more error.
- Lastly, I tried 3.1.3. It successfully restore and went into emergency mode(which i assume is a successful restore but i need an Orange sim to activate this phone.

My question is, are there anyone who can Boot this phone, jailbreak and unlock it? All my contacts are in there and i'm lost. I used more than 20 hours in 2 days trying to learn every steps to recover this but im lost.

- SHSH blob the last time i checked was 3.1.3 and 4.0.
- This is 3GS new bootrom.

Any help, advise, ideas, will be very much appreciated. I need someone nice to talk to=)

Regards to contact, i can asure nothing is going to happen to your backup. You can restore back when you had successfully restore back the firmware that is unlockable.

Hurm?Update your iTunes to latest version and make sure you put your phone into DFU mode. Please google on how to put in DFU mode.

hmmm i am using digi line now, and they having promotion for RM60 per month. Well i want to get iphone is because i am very boring sometime waiting for people hours sometime. this is part of my job. i am thinking like i can read, play or something. or maybe while waiting do other work. So will really iphone help me all this. take away the game first

You can always load it with few small tv series etc, it's not convenient to watch in small screen but it's better than nothing.
Can do some serious work as well like document editing excel, powerpoint etc
There's book store with plenty of free books that will keep you entertained for hours
You can amuse yourself with all the free software and play around with it
There's the usual IM stuff (Whatsapp, YM, MSN etc)

Rest assured you won't get bored

hmmm in this case is better to get 3gs or 4g? since 4g is out in the market but not yet reach here (malaysia).
