How to check it.. As i know n mention earlier im the one make the wrong copy of shsh but in the general setting its show 3.1.3 with 5.12 modem.. Upgrade to 4.0.1 also upgrade the modem?

Oh i didnt know it work like that bcoz previuously i read ppl can get back to their original os just by restore it with shsh backup.. In that sense restore using shsh will be same with restoring using itunes.. Sorry so many ques since i just one month with iphone..

One more thing, i tot when u have carrier unlock phone just like mine it will be remain unlock when i update the os.. I just need to JB it..

And do i need to activate the phone again after the upgrading?

Mean i can use my digi sim to activate ths phone?

Alright, I need help but I don't know where to look for. Please help! =*(

iPhone 3GS 16GB(Orange UK Telco LOCKED version)
- was originally 3.1.2 jailbroken and unlocked
- I wanted to reformat my phone so I backed up with iTunes and started the restoring process with itunes.. Everything went well until it suddenly stopped and gave error. It was in a recovery mode loop. Tried again, and more error.
- Lastly, I tried 3.1.3. It successfully restore and went into emergency mode(which i assume is a successful restore but i need an Orange sim to activate this phone.

My question is, are there anyone who can Boot this phone, jailbreak and unlock it? All my contacts are in there and i'm lost. I used more than 20 hours in 2 days trying to learn every steps to recover this but im lost.

- SHSH blob the last time i checked was 3.1.3 and 4.0.
- This is 3GS new bootrom.

Any help, advise, ideas, will be very much appreciated. I need someone nice to talk to=)

Well I not sure whether this question had been asked before but I cant seem to find it through the search. Pardon me if this question had been answered before.

I am not sure whether is this the issue with the 3G reception in my area or the phone problem. I am using 3GS on 3.1.3 + Jailbreaked.

Often time even though there is a 3G symbol showed on the status bar but when I load web pages it will just keep loading and stucked. I have to constantly turn on/off my 3G in order to get the reception. This is very annoying because when it is stucked my whatsapp push messages will not get through and only when I on/ff the 3G all the expired messages started coming in.
