haiyaa btw i just called the customer service..cant make it today...so anyway just wait

i just found out that digi does not allow teethering on the iphones. this is shyt man. i need teethering since part of it i use some small percentage of my mobile data plan for emergency connectivity to notebook n grab some files from emails etc.....like this sux lah mus use iphoen download..then transfer to notebook.

I prefer the option to allow teethering man. quite a drawback for me. sad.gif...need to shell additional cash to get mobile broadband sumoer.

this information is incorrect.  Apple allows tethering on DiGi iphones as it is a licensed mobile operator of iphones.  i just tethered this afternoon without problems.

ok if that is true then digi CS call halim is bullshiting me

but anyway, like for example black berry, if i connect it, will the charges be part of the 1gb or normal charges for 3g connection?

im on digi unlimited 48 and my data package is part of 3gb even if i use my notebook. can you pls confirm on my statement above? u know la mobile data plan is kinda expensive if its not part of the package

r u sure about this? tethering and using on the phone is separate charge? anybody can confirm?  hmm.gif
that is provided you haven't used any of the credit and have no outstanding. :lo:

i check with a collegue of mine. on digi black berry unlimited, the 3g service is saperate. if use phone, part of the package..if use notebook to connect, saperate normal 3g charges apply

so thats why i am curious about this 3g speed and if it allows teethering within the 1gb package ...u know la how expensive can thse charges be. even 5 mb, normal charges alreadi 30 something bucks man

i'm guessing some people are taking it sealed back home for profit gains instead of using it for themselves.

If by following the process, they must ask you to test the phone and verify it. I know mine did ask and i tested on the spot for all the functions.

I'm sure this guy with the problem wants to sell it off as sealed item to fetch a higher price. Very SURE!

guys,do any of u check ur statement on9?
i'm nw on idigi88 which mean i got 200min free call to all network but when i check the statement, they still charge me for call when i din even use over 200min yet...

Normal. i also found out that digi so stupid told me my sup lines are 2 number but today i found out 1 line still not free calls after reviwing the bill.

I presented my case however they ask me to wait until 16th for the finalized bill and it will reflect to the 88 ringgit 200 mins calls and minus off. ( im not so sure why so stupid) but i will make sure i get a refund

I wonder what makes the ivalue or idigi plan so attractive that people are taking it?

I personally took idata plan with my normal maxis plan.  With my Maxis active10 or whatsoever they called it, I sms at the rate of RM0.01

With my RM50 limits, I could actually send 5000sms on paper calculation =P coz i never sent that much.  Normally just about 1500 sms and calls.  Never exceeded RM50.

With those idigi88 plans, 1500 sms would cost me, what 1300 x RM0.10 = RM130 additional to my RM88 plan?  Is that wise?  Correct me if I am wrong.  The same also to ivalue plan by Maxis.  It is just not flexible and why people even want to take it.

Just curious, no mean to offend anyone.  Please enlighten me on why people choose ivalue/idigi plans.

1)On a broadband/bandwidth/payment perspective
Digi does not charge for additional bandwidth utilized. It merely downgrades to edge ( 128kbps). So 1GB bandwidth is basically unlimited. Especially if you need teethering often( u know this can easily blow up once u teether with your mobile)

2) Maxis 10 is the same with Digi Friendlist(or watever u call that thing u can add 5-6 people and get cheaper calls)

3) I'm not sure Maxis has that free calls to supp lines also? If they do, then good coz digi has em.

The only reason why i choose digi is
1) 0.15 cents flat rate
2) No need to pay for each KB once u exceed your quota ( Usefull for teethering users like me)
3)Overall its cheaper than maxis package (Pay 88 Ringgit is cheaper than maxis 150 package) ( Free 200 mins call which useful)

however this is coming from a digi perspective and user of 8 years. My bonus points are also quite a lot which allows me to use 600 points to knock off 12 ringgit from my bill LOL

i dont think your understanding is quite correct.

the phone is unlock! u can use diff sim and it will still work.

What post contract ( if u cant understand this, basically means after 2 years), you dont need to be tied with digi anymore. 88 bucks after 2 years, can use back normal package like digi unlimited + voice call etc.

Basically, digi will release you and you have the option to choose which ever telco u want, what ever package u want

2 years contract depends on how you look at it. For me, ive been digi subscriber for 6 years now.

My normal bill would eventually come up to about 90-120 plus per month considering;
1) Digi unlimited 48 ringgit
2) Supplementary lien charge 30 ringgit
3) additional calls - 20-30 ringgit

So with this, its cheaper for me anyway considering
1) digi unlimited ( 1gb quota is more than enough for my teethering needs anyway)
2) main line would cost me 50 ringgit
3) additional calls absorbed within the 200 mins
So by paying 88 ringgit, its still cheaper for me in many ways.

It really depends on individuals scenario. I see this packet to fit me perfectly.

4g or 3gs, it depends on individuals. you can buy the 3gs now and sell it off later for the 4g if u really want it. market price is about 2000 bucks for a used 3gs now. So u dont loose that much seeing how (in my scenario), i'm saving on the monthly bill already.
