hey guys. i haven been following this thread lately, but i guess the question that lingers in everyone's mind wud b:
is iPhone cheaper with Maxis or DiGi?
*
comparison

digi88: total cost over 24 months = 3816

maxis100: total cost over 24 months = 3790

however, seeing the items in digi88, it is more reasonable to compare with maxis155

maxis155: total cost over 24 months = 4810

what you get for maxis155 over digi88 = 467minutes/month; call rate at 12sen/minute vs 15sen/minute for digi.

for lite user who seldom call/sms but surf net/use app often, digi is better

And I'm wondering why u compare a $155package with $88 package?
Why not $155 package with $138 package, especially when u want to stress on $/min.
*
because maxis155 is closest to digi88 in terms of specifications

digi vs maxis
1gb vs 1gb
200sms vs 200sms
20mms vs 20mms
200min vs 667min
15sen/min vs 12sen/min
etc

ok then

balance 467 minutes x 0.15 is RM70.05 + RM88 = RM158.05

cannot calculate like that lar...

till now no 1 answer my question yet...

does DIGI have 3G turbo coverage in melaka?
*
which is also why i mentioned earlier, this is especially true if you are a light voice call user and use the iphone more for apps and data.

or in other words, heavy caller, low data: maxis > digi; heavy data, low caller: digi > maxis. personally i fall into the latter category, YMMV

digi 3g coverage can easily check from digi website; but i'd expect the answer to be no. they seemed pretty much focused only on klang valley atm.

i for one cant understand the logic behind the 24+12 plan, since for the +12 period you'll be spending money without getting any benefit?

sounds like a temptation to get people to spend future money and get further into debt.
