Leaked Digi Package??

ah please, in the corporate world its not about being fair or honest. Its all about being smart in investing in infrastructure and also sustaining profit, first thing to consider, maxis was one of the first privately owned telco company in Malaysia,lucky for them they had a very deep pocket, and were very profitable and smart in investing in their infrastructure, it has always been a level playing field, its about whether or not you are smart in taking risks or opportunities. Please get your facts right Maxis is owned by Ananda Krishnan and i doubt he is part of the government.

yes this is the leaked one but i think it is just a reference until every thing is finalised by tonight 12.am (the operator ask me to check their website tonight )

perhaps sengaja-ter-sent the email is more appropriate.

ok according to the leaked poster and what i have analised

For 3Gs 16GB model, the basic plan

1. RM 159 x 24 = RM 3816
2. (RM 106 x 24) + (RM 106 x 12) = RM 3,816

which mean, for the 1st one, you are paying ALL-IN-ONE for 2 years, 24 months

for the 2nd one, you are paying the first 2 years with ALL-IN-ONE for the first 2 years, and purely RM 106 for the last 12 months just for the phone. We never know what is the plan available for 3rd year

so in the end, you are paying RM 3,816 for a IPhone 3GS 16GB with minutes, data, sms, and blablabla

For basic plan, no matter how you calculate, the phone itself cost you a RM 1,704

RM 159 - RM 88 = RM 71
RM 71 x 24 = RM 1704

RM 106 - RM 88 = RM 18
RM 18 x 24 + (RM 106x12) = RM 1704

Correct me if anything, just discuss

is Digi's 3g good? tats my concern. if not i wud rather pick maxis.

if you have the 3g coverage then its good.

you mean have to deduct the tax ?

no point deduct the tax as you always need to pay it. and RM 106/RM 159 is already inclusive of tax

the iget no bill shock thingy, does it means after 1gb quota max out (RM88) you can still can use the internet?

Yes... but once you're over the quota, maybe will be limited to 128kbps speed. Anyone can confirm?

Since i currently using iphone maxis plan, i would say worth it.

put aside the coverage part.

if u in city, worth it.
if u in jungle, get maxis
if u in town, get maxis
if u in oversea, get oversea plan

Be patient fren.. tonight if the official plan come out.. sure someone will do the calculation..

everything will be confirm by tmrw

the plans are well-worth, but unsure of few thing such as

1. digi 3g speed and coverage
2. tether allowed ?

the empty unit price is same, meaning without contract

the price is out...

Price : RM88 mthly ( Maxis RM100 mthly)

Digi definitely wins in terms of packages and pricing (tho the iphone price is similar, maxis announced today rm200 rebate till 20th april)

bt main concern is, COVERAGE, SPEED and services. All 3 Maxis wins napshot. so tats the issue..not sure of Digi's 3g
