I'm at campus now. Quite 'abandoned' here during weekends. When are u moving to ur hotel?

On the registration day...I dont want to stay in hotel lor,think of going to call them for an off campus room....

Why u going to campus?Anything going on there?

Indeed, very abandoned. During June to Sept, it's even worse.

Hi,Can i know what are the important things to bring when going to stay there?

Actually, i supposed to stay in a temp room on campus until monday. Then i move to TT5. so im just hanging out at the computer lab.

Whatever that you think you must have, or else you won't be able to stay there.
Daily stuff like towel, shower foam, toothbrush etc. are certainly a must. Observe your daily life, what do you use for your daily NEED? (TV and Mama's nice cooking should classify as WANT as you won't be able to bring that over no matter what)
Phone, laptop, their respective chargers, kettle (depends if you take hot drinks like milo, nescafe).
After you have your checklist, or after you have packed them up, simulate your day in uni in your brain. What do I do after I wake up. Oh, I forgot my toothpaste! Sort of, remember to of course, bring your choice of pillow and blanket and bolster (if you use it) etc.

You ought to miss out something. Don't be too stressed out on the checklist. Just be extra sure it won't be so crucial that you must make a second trip. Even if it really happens, stuff like changing clothes, pillow, charger that is a super must have, you also have no choice to either make a second trip, or buy another set for uni use.

It's already part of uni life!

i wanna be on campus so baaadddd... there's everything here... but sadly i have to move out tomoro.

you know I realised something really eerie about the pricing of Nottingham U accommodation.

eg.
"There is a separate meter for air-conditioning usage in the Single room with ensuite bathroom which will be read monthly and charged to the student.

Single Shared Bathroom in 5 Room Flat with A/C @ RM535 per student
Single Shared Bathroom in 5 Room Flat @ RM 435 per student"

So.. it means you have to pay an extra of RM100 for the presence of your AC and its electricity will be charged otherwise. Since you will most likely be living in for 9 months. You're basically paying RM900 for the room O.O That could get me a new AC!

Do they change a new AC right after the previous student vacated.. I highly doubt it.

Why are we so easily be bullied by the management =(.. just like how our government bullies the citizens

AC is a luxury.

Could have bought a fan every month using that RM100 and make the room REAL windy.

Came way too early. So bored here. Nothing to do except use the comp lab. Plus i have to stay off campus which is even worse. Cant wait for registration

i hv a house at the broga for rent. the grille will be completed this saturday. to be honest, the transport is the only issue for my house as there is no bus service yet, and it is located abt 5km by going further down toward the Chinese Temple...

the house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bath rooms, 1 bath room is attached to the master-room. i will furnish the room with Air-cond & ceiling fan. so you pay the electricity per ur usage. i will provide u fridge and washing machine too. any thing else can be discussed.

comp lab need username and password one ma. Unless you have access to the temporary password.

I have the temporary username and password. And can somebody tell me where is the bridge to campus from tts5. My house is in TTS5/4.

I mean ,is there only computer lab we can only use now?How about library and sport facilities?
