Let's say right, when me move to v4 (I think it'll be soon enough?), I suggest we recheck all the links and update any information that might be not relevant dy, also at the same time list out members who are currently student of Nottingham (and also in what course) so people who come here know who to ask/private message if they really have questions regarding some of the course the members here are currently studying in.

Hey the mechanical folks here!
I am sure you all have received the email about the IMechE polo shirt. Please strongly consider buying it as it's the very first shirt that the IMechE student chapter is releasing. We go rather conservative for our first design but don't let that put you off on getting the first exclusive Nottingham Mechanical polo shirt. Haha, a bit of advertisement here, I am in the IMechE committee after all. When are we moving to V4 btw? |

^30 units for each year wei. I scared i tak jadi buy.
What I did in the android phone thread I was TS for, is have a public google doc where anyone can edit. That way the update-ness of the info is dependent on the person providing the data him/herself. I see pretty good response (I guess) from this method. I think if there ever is going to be an ever-updated data pool, this method can be considered. @tanjinjack, how many people in your year now ah? What was the population in Year 1? This post has been edited by DJFoo000: Apr 12 2011, 11:11 PM |

RM30 is a decent deal I believe. The material we choose this time is lacoste, so it strikes a balance in quality and affordability. It was even more expensive to begin with and we are just glad to have hunted down this supplier that gives us the best price. Try to reconsider it! My batch has only about 70 students and the current year 4 has less than 30. I believe the current Year 1 and Year 2 are well over 100 la. Why? |

trying to anticipate the difficulty that is to come. Guess there's bound to be dropouts.
I'll surely buy it if I get the chance to. What I meant was I scared it was sold out too quickly considering the limited number of units allocated per class year. This post has been edited by DJFoo000: Apr 13 2011, 12:44 AM |

I thought you are not happy with the price.I'll surely buy it if I get the chance to. What I meant was I scared it was sold out too quickly considering the limited number of units allocated per class year. Approach the representative assigned. If you really have trouble securing yours (that's after all 30 being taken), PM me. I'll see if I can sort things out for you. |

QUOTE(tanjinjack @ Apr 12 2011, 10:50 PM) I don't mind doing the first page for v4 tho. But it'll take some time for me to refer back to v1, v2 and v3 and update all of the links since Nottingham changed the website completely. Also, might be doing a bit of stalking to include list of members who are currently in Nottingham (and in what course) to help out future visitors. Will be adding this as well. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « If there is anyone who wish to add in anything on the first page, do make suggestions. Don't really wanna copy paste whatever that's in the previous version just like that. Added on April 13, 2011, 10:00 amErm but I thought we need a moderator to close the v3 thread isn't it? The convention is that a thread expires when the page count reaches 125 (or 2500 posts). A new thread starter would then draft the new thread and post it, after which the former thread starter would close his/her old thread using his/her moderation option as the thread starter of that old thread.

^Yeah spam and get a chance to win a free 7-day vacation to Banland!
No seriously, spamming a thread just to get it to the next version is stupid. I've seen a lot of that in a lot of sub-forums. The EE subforum deserves some respect and dignity. |

QUOTE(tanjinjack @ Apr 13 2011, 05:15 PM) The problem is where is the current TS? I don't think there will be any professional bodies related with Nutrition coz it's not even a 4 yr course, the graduates can only be a Nutritionist (not protected term), not a dietician. It's a new course, and that's why it has not attained accreditation on MQA. Added on April 13, 2011, 5:16 pm Never mind the MQA. New course. |
