QUOTE(yellowpika @ Mar 6 2010, 11:40 AM) yeah, tokyo is on my mind now mind sharing the happiness? Tokyo is expensive my dear, I hope you're prepared. Otherwise I foresee eating out of vending machine foods, and tidbits. As for sharing the happiness, I'll be documenting in HD, so hope your PC is prepared! For the first time, a world-class theme park is like a balik-kampung distance away from here. This would finally make theme parks generally, and rollercoaster specifically, a legitimate and mainstream pastime/hobby to indulge in. People from these parts of the world will have more chance overcoming their brought-up fears of these attractions, and hopefully, once they've experienced and tasted what I've been doing all this while, they'll want more! I'll be buying annual pass for myself, so I foresee going there every month whenever I have the weekends off.

Hmm, my mom is considering 1 of those 4 places(refer to previous page) to go to...if we go to japan, we would get a tour package and i'm considering of persuading my bro to ask her female penpal over there to let us stay longer(dunno is it possible though)...

If you have a place to stay, a Japanese friend, then that would take the cost out considerably, since you'd probably be spending more on food to cook, and accommodation covered. FYI, the accommodation cost the killer, next would be the transportation cost. Food is bearable, cost-wise.

So, you're trying to say that tour package is pricey too?

Japanese phrases? I'm the wrong person to ask. My last brush with anything involving Japanese linguistics is during my anime-watching phase circa 1998. Tour packages are fine, but remember, you are confined by what the tour itinerary is planned for. On a separate note: Ahhhhhhhhhhhh....aircon...... Most probably before 9pm. The shopping gonna have to bring back the stuff back home first, then I'll go back there with SFIV. Gonna go watch Alice in Wonderland in 3D. Keep in touch tomorrow.

if I may...
If ur hoping for Alice in Wonderland according to how Lewis Caroll wrote, prepare to be dissapointed. This is Alice in Tim Burton's Wonderland.
I watched in 3D at Gardens. Was not happy. GF quotes it as dark and depressing. Rather than fun, fun, fun, fun, fun. Which lacks HORRIBLY of it.
Mad Hatter was wonderful though.

LOL already expected that. Alice has grown up after all. Just like how "Hook" was last time. Wendy grown up as well on that.
What's more worrying to me is the comment on Engadget saying that the 3D in Alice isn't exactly 3D at all. Or does not take advantage of the 3D format.
Ot: Anybody using Tempur products? Namely the pillows and mattresses? Where to buy?

I agree with engadget. Not every setting was in 3D, some didn't felt like it was 3D at all.
