I go there also naik commuter lah most of the time unless shopping large volume. My point here is, the "carrot" being dangled infront on my face to go there isn't enticing enough to actually go through the trouble I'd face to get there.

It's the reward at the end that makes the journey bearable. To me, what I can or need to find there is readily available closer to me. Only on specific circumstances that I can't find it closer to me that I'd venture to that congested area. All this is IMO of course. It's the same reason why others prefer their closer malls.

I hate Brisbane. Close vicinity to a casino right smack dab in the middle of the city, plus the fact that those idiotic surfer dude-type morons are free to roam around the city, makes it not a safe city to walk around.

Waiting for a fund-in from a forumer to help him purchase his Ultimate Trilogy Edition from EBGames here.

You should see me yesterday. I had to dodge and weave past surfer and skater underage teens asking for change for them to buy McD. Then there's the homeless which grope and not leave you alone even after you politely refuse them. And of course, the vices brought in by the casino downtown brings the unruliest kind, with gambling losers coming out drunk and wailing for their loses, and shady characters at dark street corners.

The company moved us to stay in downtown Brisbane, but I missed our Gold Coast hotel already.

The same kind (surfer skater) are hanging out at EBGames here and basically milling about aimlessly. Hate those.

Melbourne>Sydney>Perth>Adelaide>..............................................>Brisbane.

Sorry, those rowdy kinds just gets on my nerve. Even worse when they're drunk.

I remember when walking to Timezone, there were a bunch of drunk kids. Pissed me off because of their shouting. But thank God they headed to a different direction.

I guess the nice guys, are really nice. But the idiotic ones, would really just want u to snap their necks.

Guess you don't see those people in theme parks and tourists spots eh?
*
Not necessarily. The crowd that patronises Six Flags parks are these rowdier kind, some even belong to cliques and gangs. If you go to Six Flags Magic Mountain, that place is swarmed with Latinos and Hispanics with their gangs, especially during summer. Same case for the east coast Six Flags Great Adventure in NY state.

That is why I like Disney, you're automatically attuned to "be nice" because of the history and the people that go there are nice. They are genuinely nice, not fake nice.

@Aiyish,

you're not missing much if you've been to a bigger city in Australia.

Another Ultimate Trilogy Edition bought, another happy person waiting for me in KL. My quota for RAOK pledge is done for today. smile.gif

Two UTEs and two FREE FFXIII 2010 Calendars from EBGames. w00t!

Also EBGames Australia-wide is doing a "2 for AUD50" promotion for selected games on their inventory. Cheap, but mostly old games though.

It's a grey area where seeing gleaming bodies almost naked makes you either admire or blush in shame. When it comes to conflicting emotions like this, I bail out. tongue.gif

I'd appreciate a more athletic body, but not freakishly huge body. And um, bodybuilders also tend to develop smaller.....err....*glance down*

I'm glad Sony is proactive in plugging any possible attempts on breaking into the PS3. I'd rather lose a feature than let the whole disease called piracy invades the PS3 scene.

Away japs, tgk Australian The Simpsons.

Added on March 30, 2010, 3:39 pmAfter lepak with the crew, now the Big Picture emerges.

The cause of the number of homeless people and teens running around is because these are runaways. They ran away from home, head to Brisbane/Gold Coast under the hope of it being the Cancun/Spring Break version they see on TV, and ended up here penniless and without a place to sleep and no money to eat. Humans, when pushed into a corner and desperate for sustenance, will end up doing anything, I guess.

Also, there was history of crew bringing back some of these homeless (girls) back to their hotel rooms and "have their way" with them, after feeding and clothing them. Cheap thrills I guess. Vice seems a little bit close to home than the rest of the nightstop places I've been.
