Yeah, my date was at year 2000 on my ps3 fat. Looks like there is a bug on the firmware. My SO4 still couldn't work after fixing the date.

suggest better not on9 or turn on your ps3 for now, I already got couple of corrupted data for dynamic themes

i think it affects Ps3 phat and games with trophies.......the trophies may still be there once Sony has fixed this bug........in the meantime u can still watch BD from your ps3....

penat weh..collect trophies then gone like wind..

methinks trophy information, dlcs etc still ok cause it is the 'verification' end that phailed. Supposedly because of the date problem...

tried setting the date back to today, DOESN'T WORK.

This is EPIC, and how on earth will Sony patch this, when we cannot even connect to the PSN at all?

heck, seriously I could care less for the trophies, it does nothing actually. All I want to be able to play the damn game OFFLINE!!!


This is simply ridiculous, if the affected games only include heavily online based games such as MW2 or WKC, then I still can understand.

Please tell me why would a game that's WITHOUT any online feature (Star Ocean 4) is being locked down just because of damn stupid trophies?
