controller constantly disconnecting, need advise

ive just got my xbox and i realise that my controller constantly gets disconnected, ive tried changing batteries and it still happens...funny thing is it happens more frequent when i play fighting games...any idea what could cause this?would be good to know if its a hardware issue or its a norm issue b4 i send it back to the shop

yea theres a fix on this..use tape to "thicken" the area...but since its a new unit and day1 itself its giving probs i thought it would be good to change..
the shop told me to bring in my machine n controller next visit :S

ok finally solved the problem with my controller..wat the shop dude did was to use a small screw driver..the ones u use for ur specs..and wat he did was to push out the metal contacts inside the battery holder/slot and also the tiny lil metal piece ontop(outside) the holder..do becareful tho.its not suppose to be sticking out too much
