EX700 series have motion/presense sensor (eco feature)

also, there will be another series, EX600, which is basically sony's entry level edge led tv set
will be cheaper than ex700 =D

i think the motionflow spec is 120Hz for NX700 and 240Hz for NX800..

No. 120Hz and 240Hz is only for NTSC market. We are the PAL market.

NTSC standard is 60Hz, PAL is 50Hz. Hence the Motionflow for tv in the NTSC market such as the USA is Motionflow 120Hz.

so since malaysia is pal market our motion flow is only 100hz?

I thought i saw the EX700 32 in Tesco for RM2999, or its just me..

EX700 LED lol wont be so cheap it was probably EX500

For those wanting to own LED TV, wait for awhile more for EX600 to launch. It'll be slightly cheaper than EX700, with some features taken away =D.

its era of lcd tv with led tv being the new high end stuff whereas every household will soon to have at least a normal lcd tv

i actually saw a ZX1 series at sony style KLCC just now..40" selling at RM14k if im not mistaken...what series is that?it was stated as MADE IN JAPAN but only with Bravia engine 2..

Thats an old model, from 2008. Super thin body, edge LED, with a box for all the inputs IINM.

If you compare with current model Samsung Edge LED back-lit LCD TV
UA40B6000 - 140W

to light up the whole LED panel just require less than 200VDC
unlike the LCD panel, it require more than 1KV..
just imagine how much the power saving

OT: Just been to the expo yesterday its real fun comparing with the Panasonic 3D demo held earlier.

By the way I found it weird that firstly when I look closely at the EX700 model at midvalley sony centre there is obvious shadowing around the subtitle when there is movement behind hte screen + the colour look to fake.

Calibration problem maybe but kind of dissapointed with it.

hi guys, i plan to get a 32 inch NX series (KLV-32NX500 to be exact) in order to fit my room... Have u guys seen any of this models in ur local dealers yet? last week i went to visit a Sony Dealer, they told me the NX series dont have 32 inch, only 40 inch is available... i was shocked!

but according to the website, 32 inch is really available...

yup..there are 32'' for NX500...which dealer u went?so noob 1,they oly know about NX7/800 i think..
u can go larger store like KLCC Sony Style get it.normally small dealer wont keep NX500 cuz of low demand..
