I really impress with power consumption on KDL EX series
KDL-32EX700 - 91W
KDL-40EX700 - 107W
KDL-46EX700 - 125W
KDL-52EX700 - 142W
KDL-60EX700 - 208W

If you compare with current model Samsung Edge LED back-lit LCD TV

UA46B6000 - 170W
UA55B6000 - 220W

to light up the whole LED panel just require less than 200VDC
unlike the LCD panel, it require more than 1KV..
just imagine how much the power saving thumbup.gif

The model is a 2008 model, but the TV was officially launched in malaysia somewhere on September 2009.

For those who wish to try out the FX900, you can try it out at this upcoming Sony Expo. There will be also movies screening from BRAVIA 3D projector.

OT: Just been to the expo yesterday its real fun comparing with the Panasonic 3D demo held earlier.

By the way I found it weird that firstly when I look closely at the EX700 model at midvalley sony centre there is obvious shadowing around the subtitle when there is movement behind hte screen + the colour look to fake.

Calibration problem maybe but kind of dissapointed with it. blink.gif

but, generally, the price will be somewhere near this formula:

Samsung's 40" 3D price + RM 2-4k = Sony 3D TV price
