so while waiting.. i did a polish on my TRUE Black Edition.. it was dirty as hell



OMG.. the black plated vanished rofl.. but i regretted taking the black edition.. it was fkin hard to clean, there was oxidation layer all over the place before i polished it..

i used brasso as the polishing compound.. a polishing felt and some brass wires..



u can see how dirty it is, compare the top of the heatsink and the bottom..

the surface of my TRUE is also a bit concave.. its a bit curve on the centre but recent reviews that a curved centre makes maximum contact with the central IHS of the CPU

its V-2000 series.. discontinued model.. no longer made by lian li..

to be honest im not a fan of the armorsuit series.. its the V series that made lian li pretty damn good last time for water cooling

since ur cutting the mobo tray...should cut a hole for the cpu cooler backplate as well...

as for the holes uve just cut.....hopre there arent any sharp edges to cut the cables/get tangled up in the cable sleeves

i think the hole is a bit sharp around the edges....
scared the wire/sleeve will get cut there...

I think wire/sleeve cannot get cut at there because the hole is quite big

If you have played with MDPC sleeves or even normal ones, you will know that it's not easy to just cut like that. Besides, I don't think the holes are sharp after you've painted it
